Excellent little desktop companion! Easy to set up using the Alexa phone app. The sound quality is perfect for speech (I mostly listen to Radio 4) but is also perfectly acceptable for music at low to moderate levels.

SOMETHING TOTALY DIFFERENT
I have considered buying an echo for sometime but kept putting it off however I am glad I did there are so many things you can get Alexa to do I am so impressed that I intend to to buy a big echo great piece of kit .

Looks fab
This item is amazing we got the bigger one for the living room and the kids wanted one for there room and this was perfect for them and work the same as the big one would buy again and the new model looks fab as well

Very easy to use, ideal for hands free tasks
I use it alot for cooking timers, music, reminders, shopping lists, among other things it's handy for meals cause I can talk to it without having to wash and dry my hands every two seconds like I would with my phone.

Doesn't look like a speaker
I have this in my bedroom so I can connect my phone to it by bluetooth and listen to music when getting ready in the morning. It doesn't look like a speaker so looks ok on my dressing table. I'm very pleased with it

Love the Alexa System
I was so pleased with my recent echo purchase I bought one for my son for Xmas. He’s going to set it up when he returns to his flat. He loved ours when he came home for Xmas. He says this is definitely the future.

Looks great, easy to use
The new amazon echo dot looks great in our living room. Love the new design. Not sure about difference in features to the previous dot but the sound quality seems much better. Good price, great conversation starter.

I got this echo dot 3rd generation for our mother and she loves it. She has a new best friend that will plays her favourite music, and tells a joke when asked. She lives on her own so it's given her something to do.

Fantastic Item
Got this on offer for my wife's Christmas present. She absolutely loves it, its the perfect size to be sat hidden away on the shelf with other speakers etc. Lots of hidden little features once you start using it.

Great device
I now have three, they are so handy. Great for setting lighting routines or simply asking Alexa to turn the kettle on with a smart plug. And speaker quality is actually quite good so I have a multi room sound system

Great fun
Let's be honest, this is really just a hi tech toy, but it's great fun to be able to ask for any music and have it play virtually instantly, or the latest news without having to surf. For the money.it's great value.

Great home addition
Bought this for my 4 year old daughter as she kept pestering as she has been in other homes with one. She loves asking Alexa questions and to play her favourite songs. Only bad thing is another wire to try and hide.

New Echo Dot
This is a fantastic addition to my home network. The quality of sound from this little device is great too. I would highly recommend one of these. It links up to my original Echo, and is perfect in the bedroom.

It is great
We love it as a family it's very easy to use and my two young boys can use it as well, we set reminders for my son to take his inhalers and do shopping lists, it was a great buy and I have told my sister to get one.

Great
Already have an echo view and echo dot and bought this so we can use Alexa in other rooms. Impressed with the sound quality considering how small it is. Great for internet radio as well as all the usual Alexa stuff.

Excellent
Got the Echo dot and loved it that much I got a 2nd one for the bedroom. You can ask Alexa almost anything and you get an answer. You can also ask to play a radio station and she does it, brilliant and I love it xx

We use our Echo dot for most things , alarm clock, soothing music at night to help aid sleep, check notification on amazon deliveries, radio station. We have not got smart plugs to connect to turn lamps on and off

Great and simple to use, can be used anywhere in the home...be prepared for your partner or child to use it for any song any request or any type of noise they decide .. But worth the money should have got one sooner

Easy to set up, looks real cool great value

Alexa, would you recommend this product? Yes, I certainly would. I can now control my lights and heating as well as having a plethora of information & music not on finger tips (No fingers required, after set up)

Great Christmas Gift.... Purchase the Echo Dot as a christmas gift for OAP parents... They love it!! It's easier and quicker for them to "ask Alexa" a question then to mess around typing a question in on Google!!

The new Amazon Dot is so much better in sound quality to its predecessor, I am very happy with the purchase. Argos had plenty in stock even when others were sold out and prices matched all others on Black Friday.
