looks good and easy to use
You can ask alexa pretty much anything. Ask her what the weather is or get her to tell you a joke. She's alot of fun and i do reccomend.

Really good product . Does everything I need it for and I get emails with updates. Great service at Taunton . The back door collection point really is great to have back.

Fun
Kids love it and it's fun to play some of the simple games on it like True or False, timers are useful and you can also use it to control the lights and temperature of your house if you're willing to buy a lot more kit. Flipping a switch or turning a knob isn't a problem for me though, but may be useful for immobile folk. The killer app is ultimately as a voice controlled music player and that will likely require a subscription to Amazon Music or Spotify, etc, from £4 a month for a single echo.

Changed my opinion of it
I had my doubts before buying one but I am now planning to add another one to the house. This thing has many uses but you have to want to integrate it into your home to get the full benefit but adding WiFi bulbs and sockets etc. As a speaker the sound is much better than expected and I now use this ad my main speaker in the house. It is portable and can be moved but it requires a constant power supply and WiFi signal.

Great product!
The product is great does exactly what it says it will. Had. A few issues with the Amazon app over Christmas but I think this may be because everyone’s trying at once! So far so good!

Brought for my wife for xmas
Brought for my wife for xmas she loves it, says she now has something that listens. to her!!! very good sound for playing the radio. and we are very surprised on how easy it is to use with adding dates to your google calendar etc loads of apps to teach the echo jokes are worse than mine

Alexa
We bought our Alexa as a Christmas present for ourselves. Very pleased with the sound quality, and impressed she's found all the music we've asked for so far. She's helped us out with traffic info, crossword clues, weather forecasts and shopping lists so far. Friends also purchased one and were very happy with theirs too.

Very pleased with Echo purchase from Argos
Having bought an "Echo Plus" and an "Echo Dot" from an online retailer I saw the offer price of the mid range echo and ordered online to collect in store. I knew in advance what the capabilities of the product were so that was never an issue.

Excellent bit of kit!
I read good reviews about the Echo but when I got it it exceeded expectations. Sound quality is brilliant for its size and the Alexa microphone and understanding of commands is the best I’ve seen. Would highly recommend getting one.

Great device with a good speaker
Looks and sounds great. My only negative comment is that it could have been slightly clearer that unless you are subscribed to a music service like Spotify or Amazon Prime, then it can't pick up songs from your phone. You need to upload them to Amazon My Music at a cost.

Present for Christmas
I have the echo dot, this does the same thing but with a better sound quality. News, weather and loads of radio stations all free. Ask questions for free as well answers a lot but also a lot that Alexa does not know but getting better. Get the Amazon music great value and you will never need to buy another CD

Should have one in every room!
Brilliant device, sound quality is excellent for the size. Use it mainly for listening to music or radio, but other features such as timer and Wikipedia are very handy. However, you do need a full Spotify account to take advantage of all available music tracks. Otherwise you keep getting a message that such and such a track is not available.
