Ultra Wide Companion for A6000
This lens is perfect for travel & landscape shooting for the Sony A6000 covering 15-27mm. My copy is razor sharp in center and corners especially from f/5.6 to f/8. I love the perspective and color rendition. If positioned correctly distortion can be mimimized and kept in check using Lightroom lens profiles. Lens construction is solid and hood attaches securely. Autofocusing is spot on and manual focusing with peaking quick & reliable. Along with my 16-70 f/4 Zeiss & Sony 70-200 f/4 the trifecta combo covers 15-300mm in a light package.

A fine addition to visual imagery!
This is an excellent lens with great sharpness and detail. It exactly what I have been looking for in order to give me a compelling and more inclusive perspective. It is outstanding for my work and far more effective than I anticipated. I am not one to deal extensively with the manufacture of the lens but can say honestly that, so far, it give me the visual rendering that I have been wanting. Nice going Sony!

Perfect For Landscape Photography
I use this lens with my A6000 when photographing landscapes. I absolutely love this thing. It's obviously not going to be a great walk around lens if you are on holidays but when you need to go wide it's awesome.

A Great Lens for Landscapes
I recently purchased this wide-angle zoom for my Sony NEX-6 in preparation for a trip to Iceland. It's a great supplement to the camera's 16mm-50mm kit lens and gives me great opportunities for DHR landscapes and also some dramatic close-ujps. Focus seems crisp, with minimal distortion. This lens should help me capture the dramatic Icelandic landscape. A wider apperture would be a nice feature, but since I plan to use the lens mostly with a tripod, this is not a drawback. The lens is a bit heavy, but not too much so.

Outstanding Lens on APS-C or Full Frame E-Mount
Found out about the full frame coverage capabilities of this lens from YouTube and Brian Smith. Very good full frame coverage from approximately 14-16mm range in my experience, with 15mm being perfect on my A7. Proof is in the image. Check my attached photo sample...

Worth every single penny!
I originally considered this lens on the recommendation of Trey Ratcliff (stuckincustoms.com). He said this was an amazing wide angle lens, boy, was he right. I've had a few weeks to put it through it's paces and I'm completely blown away by this tiny lens that helps me capture HUGE looking shots. The distortion is really low and the rest I can take care of in Lightroom.

Sharp lens, but not the best choice for the Sony A7R
I knew that this lens would give up a few mm on either end on the A7R, not a big deal, 12mm to about 16mm works for me, but only getting 16MP of resolution defeats the purpose of shooting with a full frame 36MP camera body.

E-Mount Wide Angle
Got this for my A6000, a move I made from my DSLR system as a compromise to cut down on space and weight when on travel. It's definitely much smaller and lighter than my DSLR wide angle and delivers on the field of view.

Perfect Companion for my SONY a6000
I purchased this lens right before to Colorado vacation. Used for snow scene, buildings and mountains, interior, and landscape. The lens was completely satisfied for handling and image quality. My favorite lens with full size DSLR is 16-35mm, but I didn't want to carry that heavy lens under 7 degree, heavy snowing weather. But I got all the images I want with this lens. May be a little less image quality if I want to enlarge over 30-40. Otherwise, good enough quality. Overall, it is very nice lens. I love it!

I like the compactness of the lens. In my tests, it performed very well as far as sharpness and held focus well throughout the range.

Very Strong Image Quality
So far I've only tested this lens at f/8 on a tripod - but that is how I will use it. With my copy the lens is sharp in the middle of the frame at all focal lengths. The best performance is at 12mm where it is excellent in terms of image quality with strong performance across almost the entire frame on the a6000. Only at the very outermost edge does the performance drop off.At 14-18mm the IQ goes from excellent to very good+ not having quite the ... Show More

Best landscape Lens for A6000 very sharp
You have two options for doing landscapes with the A6000 - this lens and the 16-70mm Ziess Zoom lens. I like that this lens is smaller than the Zoom lens and allows you to do true wide shots. Colors are not vivid with this lens, but the images are really sharp. OSS is a great feature for handheld shots. The down side is with a maximum aperture of F/4 is does not allow in enough light on cloudy days. While the zoom range would allow you to use this as a standard lens - you would be disappointed compared to a fast prime lens. Overall a great special purpose lens.

I want to leave this on my camera 24/7
I bought my a6000 (as an upgrade from the rx100) for two reasons. One, I needed fast focus of my fast moving kid. And, secondly, I wanted to be able to do things that I just couldn't my little camera. Grand scenery and cool shots of buildings, such as that which I found in South Lake Tahoe this past weekend was where this gem of a lens came in handy. I had time to practice once before our vacation, with shots of my kid at the local duck pond. It'... Show More

Not Quite a Zeiss - but Pretty Good
This is a great Wide Zoom for an A6000. I bought this for when we wanted to downsize from the A7RI would give it a 5 stars if it weren't for comparison to the Zeiss FE 16-35 on my A7R which is just a killer lensComparing it to the Zeiss FE 16-35 there are a bit more internal reflections going on. Still clean enough to do a decent starburstBuild quality is great and very sharp. I cant see having an A6000 system for landscape without one.

Amazing Ultra Wide
This is an amazing wide angle lens! I just got back from France and I found myself using this lens almost more than my 18-200mm. It was especially useful in interior situations. The 10-18mm is really fun, and I'm having a blast playing with it!

You Need This Lens in your Kit
After the Zeiss 24mm f1.8, this should be your next buy for the Sony NEX. The high end of the zoom (equivalent 24mm) is a great walk-around wide angle, while the wider end is perfect for those interiors and even landscapes. It's a sharp, sharp, sharp lens that you'll find yourself going to more and more often. Highly recommended!

Usable with Sony A7
Covers for me 12mm to 16mm full frame. Remove the rear baffle and 18mm becomes usable. On a Sony A7 the lens is smallish, light, super wide, fast and with 12-18 range plus OSS what's not to like?
