I liked like a lot
I'm using these beautiful headphones in my home studio and are extremely good, the tightness of the headband and earbuds are pretty good, the sound it's very clean, medium feels right maybe it lacks a little of lows but I'm using it mostly for listening video tutorials and not for gaming or music. Build quality it's pretty good for the price I'd paid, the metal looking part it's actually good quality plastic, the leather imitation it's pretty good too (actually, I don't know for sure if it's real leather or not :) no ratching sounds yet. Totally recommended!

Superlux hd 668B is a bit better.
It's an okay headphone. But I wouldn't pay more than $50 for it. Plus Superlux HD 668B is a bit better and more crisp.

Very good value
Dollar for dollar, a very good buy. These stack up well with much more expensive models. Smooth freq response. Too bad they are wired for phones - a real drawback. I didn't want to modify to work in my studio, but the few minutes was worth this. Despite the wiring drawback, I'm still pleased with the headphones.

Mixed feelings
Comfortable and good sound. Pretty good noise cancellation. But, the earpads fell off twice and the wire very shaky after a few months, making the talking and listening experience really tough!! A real let down!

Long term review
The Pioneer SE-MS5T-K (i now cal it "Jonny" for short), started out as a good pair of headphones. Not too much bass, not too many features. Jonny just worked. It has a decently strong design that has not failed or cracked in use even though it is mostly constructed with plastics. Jonny's cable is indeed quite tangle free, and has not sustained visible or mechanical damage. The headband and earcups are okay, also for longer periods of use. Jo... Show More

Amazing Sound, Comfort, and Value
This is my second pair of Pioneer SE-MS5T headphones; I bought these in red this time from B&H. They have the same sound as my other pair, which at first listen may sound somewhat overly-bright. It did take me a couple of days to adjust to this sparkly sound, but wow, what a difference. When I put my old cheapie headphones (that I really liked), they sound muddy compared to the MS5T. I can now hear individual instruments positions in the soundstag... Show More

Surprising very lightweight!
Lightweight and comfortable, the sound quality is still very Pioneer style, a balance between bass and treble levels, there is a difference with Sony, therefore, it is not who is better but an individual preference.

Good sound and comfort for the price
I bought these headphones for my girlfriend for everyday use. The advantage as opposed to "normal" headphones is that it keeps the sound inside the ear pads, so she does not bother me when I'm reading a book for example. I used it myself and it blocks out all the outside noise quite well. It is also very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and we took it on vacation so it got exposed to rough handling. But, no cracks to the headrest... Show More

When I first saw the Pioneer SE-MS5T-T headphones I was really happy about the design. It stood out from the other ones, because for me it gave a feeling of something ancient. For the most of the time they will be used for my new digital piano, sometimes it is easier to get on a well note with your neighbors if they do not hear you playing 24/7. When I first plugged them in to hear what the sound will be like, I was very surprised, you can hear a... Show More

Great headphones for the price.
These sound good through my phone and my stereo. Only issue I have and it's probably the equipment not headphones is that the jack seems to not fit phone well (Doesn't want to stay all the way in Galaxy S6) and seems loose in the 1/4 adapter for my stereo.

Great value
Can't fault the sound, comfort or overall quality for the price I paid. Use these as a day to day pair of headphones at work & home, they see a fair bit of use and have held up well so far.

Perfect for me
It's very comfort. Comparing another brand bluetooth headphone (about $100 range), the sound is richer and clearer, the volume is a little weaker, because the bluetooth has its own power supply. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Decent headphones
Good: Very comfortable earpads - that's the best thing in this headphones. Sound is very nice, but there are tiny-tiny problems on some bass frequencies (when listening Rock or Trance music). Bad: Closed construction of headphones is pretty nice, but noise isolation is not so good. Sound is leaking in both directions. That's probably because of earpads - there is thin layer of material between earpads and headphones and that's probably... Show More
