Exceeded Expectations
I bought this to be the main lens fixed to my GX7, to be attached to the camera when not in use in lieu of a front camera cap. I figured it would also serve well as the just grab it and shoot kind of lens, where when I see a shot and need a camera quickly as possible, this one is waiting with a lens on it. At the 35mm equivalent of 28mm, you get a not too wide wide angle shot...back far enough for good group portraits or vacation/traveling scenes... Show More

Great lens at a good price
Gday world and all that read this review, after recently purchasing a GH5 camera body I needed a lens that would be good to use for a close-up live streaming camera. After doing my research I chose the Panasonic LUMIX G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH II Lens. To be perfectly honest I am still waiting for the lens to arrive and very much looking forward to testing it out. This is a great little lens at a very good price. Thank you B&H. Cheers from iSpike (YouTuber) in outback country Western Australia (channel name: iSpike)

Good but not as sharp as I'd like
I was going back and forth: should I get this lens or the Olympus 12mm at twice the price? Since my primary objectives were for landscapes and taking wide shots of my very large extended family in group shots, it was best to take the lighter of the two lenses for hiking outdoors, and I really had difficulty justifying the price difference. That said, I am sorry I didn't get the Olympus. This is a very nice lens, but you get what you pay for, and it's not as sharp as I would have liked.

Great for what it is, tiny
Great lens. It's smaller than I thought, even after all the reviews stating how small it is. I have the 20 f/1.7 and this is quite a bit smaller than that. So far on my EM5 MkII it has provided quick focus, sharp results and good color. This will be part of my travel kit along with an Olympus 12-100 for times when I want a much smaller and lighter option. I chose this over other options because I valued size, weight, and price over the absolute best optical performance.

compact efficienccy
We are vacationing in Turkey and several huge architectural features require this lens. Low light situations, interiors abound and the lens (and the operator?) have performed as expected. I am still learning, but this lens is a perfect complement to my other 2. Needed a storage bag. Bought a filter as well for polarization and lens protection. The interior details of the Sultanahmet mosque came out crisp, vivid.

GREAT LENS
Added this prime to my Olympus OM-D E-M5 kit. The image quality rivals the Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm f1.8 which is an exceptional optic. It is the perfect companion as a walk-around lens for the compact body of the M5. Fast focus, good color rendering, sharp from corner to corner, minimal distortion, and solid construction.

Loved this lens!
Read some mixed reviews about this lens, I'm using it on my G85 and bought it to carry a lighter setup that would work on the Zhiyun Crane-M2 Gimbal. So far its been perfect! I've also tested it handheld at night and even though I was pushing my ISO to 1600 the it did a really good job at f2.5.

Decent but...
Nice little lens but CA is an issue. In fairness, I think Lumix cameras can correct for this but I shoot Olympus. The lens is sharp and very compact. Focus is silent. Good enough for the money.

LUMIX G 14mm f/2.5 Lens
so far this lens has been a great addition to my kit for use on my Pen F, its very low profile is the best part, the image quality produced using it is very good, highly recommended!

Nice Lens
Used as a wide angle lens on my GH4 for photo and video. Good: Nice picture, small and portable, light weight Not so great: Tiny so not as convenient to focus for video.

Nice for GH4 on 3-Axis Gimbal
I bought this to lighten the load of my GH4 on a 3-Axis Gimbal. My standard 14-140mm lens was just a little too heavy. But this little pancake model did the job.

Feather Light & Great Depth of Field
At less than 2 ounces it is like it floats. Great depth of field for landscapes. I had to add a lens hood and extra weight to get a balance on my 3 axis gimbal.

Lot of lens in a tiny package
I've only had it for a couple of outings, but shot in the forest with great results. It's so light, thought I forgot to bring along before finding in my bag.

Discreet
Perfect discreet street lens providing a modest wide angle view when working close. When you don't want to standout in the crowd use this lens.
