I works. Its light weight and easy to carry. But rips easly. Basically a big thin Yoga mat. I'm worried it wont last long because my bass drum has already ripped it in a number of places, but like I said, you get what you pay for. If you dont move your drums alot, ie... play a lot of gigs, it will work great. But if you play a lot of gigs, pick it up, move the drums around, it may tear faster.
