Nice cheap lens, not that fast and the zoom is manual and quite hard to turn. In 99$ it's a good buy though.

Good Lens
The sharpness for this lens is awesome, the fact that are plastic it's not a downside for me since they are really lightweight. I've been lastly using prime lens so that is kind of a point when you are going to F/4 from 1.7 or 2.8 so I can see a clear difference however they work fine for must scenarios. Low cost, decent quality
I bought this as an inexpensive alternative to the PRO version. It makes decent quality images, is lightweight and easy to use. Its is definitely a heavy-duty lens, but with gentle use it is worth the money.

Amazing image quality for the price
I didn't expect this lens to perform so well. Of course it's not state of the art lens, but it's certainly capable of taking great shots. And for only $99, every dollar worth it. I am very happy with this purchase!

Slow but good image quality
I bought this lens as a replacement for the original version which had quit working. I was very happy with the original up to the point that it failed to work. The zoom ring on this new lens is not nearly as smooth in operation as my old one & has a stiff point around the 100mm mark. Other than that it is equal to my old lens. It would be nice to see a faster intermediate lens between this model & the pro model.

Decent kit lens at an awesome pricepoint
This is much better than your average kit lens (DSLR or Mirrorless) and the price is right. It lacks stabilization so make sure you pair with a camera equipped with that. Very good results from 40-100mm and about average after that. Super light for an equivalent 80-300mm zoom lens

True Essentials
This is an extraordinarily compact and portable lens with enough reach for almost any purpose. At first, I was skeptical of its image quality, but when using it in real life photography, eliminated all concerns about. I have to add that there is no reason not to have one in your camera bag

A Best Value In Lenses
40-150 is a very light and small lens. Exceptionally sharp. Focuses close enough for most applications. Did not expect it to perform at this level.

Exactly what I needed
I had hoped that Olympus would come out with a zoom lens to go with my Olympus Pen F. When I saw this one advertised by B&H and the excellent price and overnight delivery I did not hesitate to order it. That turned out to be a smart move indeed. I have a Leica zoom lens with almost exact focal lengths as this lens but much heavier and larger by far. I would highly recommend this lens to any Olympus customer.

Nothing better for the price
I needed a lens to record a wedding ceremony on my gh5s. I knew I would be near the back of the venue, and that I would need at least 100mm to get close to the action. I was surprised to see this lens on sale for only $100. It is very sharp and as long as the lighting is sufficient the variable f-stop wont be an issue. I would recommend this to anyone who intends to use it on a tripod with manual focus.

A better lens than I expected at the price
I bought this lens to extend the range from the 14-42 mm kit lens out to 150 mm, and it does a fine job. Its light weight and compact size let me take it with me, and it does the job I want it to do.

Nice lens addition
Recently purchased the Olympus OM-D10 Mark III. Good price from B& H, This lens is very light and works well. It comes in two color versions black or silver. I went with the black, and it looks nice. The lens hood and storage bag are not included so you would need to purchase them separately. I would recommend this to others.

Terrific Buy on Fine Lens

Plastic, Fantastic.
I have some of the best Olympus expensive Pro Lenses, like 40-150mm f/2.8, the big brother of this lens, also 4 other ones and this lens stands up against my pro lenses, every bit as sharp at f/5.6-8. Obviously not as fast at f/4-5.6 but most of the time it is enough for me. I like this lens so much I use it a lot more with my PEN-F than the Pro version since it is so much lighter. Looks and works GREAT on my PEN-F. I highly recommend this lens, it is one of the best value for the price. The two sample pictures show the lens at 40mm and 150mm.

Fantastic lens for the price!
I am totally blown away by the sharpness of this lens! It's a must have if you own the Panasonic LUMIX GH5. Naturally I was a bit skeptical at first; the housing is basically nothing but plastic and definitely has a cheap feel, but the image quality vastly surpassed my expectations. Buy it now.
