I wanted to purchase this lens for a while but when looking online at other suppliers sadly it was out of stock. Nevertheless my perseverance paid off when I came across your website simply out of chance hence browsed your webpage and saw you had it in stock. Placed the order accordingly but to my amazement I saw that it was a next day delivery...hooray. The lens does exactly what it says in the box, good quality photos with great results. Very pleased.

Olympus 40-150mm lens
A worthwhile investment. Lightweight, inexpensive and for the most part gives decent results.

Good for the money
This lens is good for the money. A bit soft at 150mm in bright day light. The hummingbird picture was shot at iso 200, f8 and the flowers was shot at iso 400, f5.6

Bargain of the century
This is just a great little lens that produces quality images far better than one would expect given it's price, size, and weight. Sure, it's all plastic--I view that as a plus as it makes it extremely light and still reasonably rugged. I don't mistreat my gear and don't anticipate making 100,000 exposures with this lens and thus expect it to perform for as long as I need. Read the technical reviews, it's not a pro grade lens but used in it's swe... Show More

Great value for this little lens
Got this on special price, great value compared to the four third lens (with adapter) I was using before. The zoom ring is not as smooth as the older lens, but you get used to it. Very happy with the purchase, and delivery was excellent and affordable to New Zealand.

Quite good for the price
A really good lens considering price. Of course the EV or ISO has to be cranked because of the aperture limit but for $1300 less than the pro model I can live with it. I use my MFT mostly for travel and it should be noted that my FF kit has all pro glass. The one thing that I hate, hate, hate with Olympus is that the lens hood is sold separately. Just add the 18 bucks to the price already.

Nice, small lens
In keeping with the micro 4/3rds system, this small lens packs a lot of focal length in a small package. Sharpness and contrast are ok. I gave it four stars (vice five) because it is mostly plastic, and you should be careful in handling the lens.

Excellent value for money and quite surprisingly so.
Beside plastic mount (which some may find problematic), there is very little to fault this lens. Light, small, no wobbling or any other mechanical cheapness. Images are outstandingly sharp though given the EFL of this lens, certain care is needed during shooting. Just pointing and slamming your finger on the trigger will give you blurred shots, but it'll be your fault. All in all - wonderful telephoto lens in case you have sufficient light for its relatively slow apertures.

Good affordable Tele
I am very happy with this purchase. It is plastic, it is not super smooth in zoom action, BUT it takes very good photos and the price is right. You want to be gentle with mounting and unmounting this lens as it is plastic in construction. I would recommend this lens to anybody who does not want to pay top dollar.

Light in weight but zoom action is not smooth
Nice and light zoom lens for MFT, and not expensive. In my case, its primary use is for video at school concerts. Unfortunately the zoom action is not very smooth and has a bit of a stutter at the long end. Quite possibly a one-off problem on the lens I have. Still a good value lens.

Got it on sale for under $100. Great little light lens. I'd give it 5 stars if the lens didn't feel rather cheap! I didn't expect a heavy duty lens though!

Good value lens produces nice images
This cheap telephoto zoom makes a great complement to the kit lens that comes with your Micro Four Thirds camera, allowing you to zoom in on distant subjects. At f/4-5.6, it's not great in dim lighting conditions, but when the sun's out it gets the job done fine. Optically, it is very good for a lens at this price point. Images are sharp, and optical aberrations are minimal. Recommended.

The lens fully meets expectations
Excellent light weight lens that reaches all the way to 300 mm EFL in light and small package. The construction, despite being all plastic, including the mount, is sturdy and the fact that the lens barrel is single cam only, inspires even more confidence. Optically the lens is just fine in good light. Shooting handheld requires practice as the 300 mm EFL is quite long even for EM-1 rather strong IBIS. Few small gotchas: 1. Sometimes my camera wou... Great all purpose lens.
Getting clear, crisp shots and great bokeh for the macro shots. The lens is fairly small and light and doesn't over balance the smaller 4/3 mirrorless camera, Olympus OMD E-M10 Mark II that I use it on.

OK lens for the price.
With the light weight and plastic housing this lens feels and looks cheap, but optics and operation appears to be satisfactory for the price. Too soon to tell how it holds up.

Excellent add-on to the M10
I've had this lens for only a few days, so still the test mode. It covers a nice range and is excellent for close-up work. I think its a must-have for anyone buying the M10.

Awesome on my Pen 8
I have a full frame Canon 6D and wanted to get something lighter and fun to walk around with. The camera came with a kit lens and I wanted to add this for extra distance shots. I was so happy I did! What a little cutie this thing is and for me, I am very happy with the images. Great value!

I needed an all-round lens that I could use without worrying too much about damaging but still worked well, and this lens is the right lens for the job. Would recommend for sure.

Nice lens, especially for the $.
I use a DSLR exclusively for video. The 40-150 allows some close shots from a fairly long ways off. You will need to use a good tripod for anything past medium shots. Panasonic Lumix G7 and G85.

Very good lens at a great price
The lens is lightweight, easy to use and a great addition to the OM-D E-M10 MkII, especially for travel. The discounts make this lens hard to pass up. A great value.

Outstanding for the price
At the marked down price, thought I would give it a try. I have two GH4 bodies and the comparable Panasonic lens. When testing with 4K video - they both compare very well together and I can see me using both during video capturing using two angles from the rear of a concert gig.

A good deal, I think
For $99 I decided I would get this to have as back-up and/or for situations that might be dangerous to the lens (either from damage or theft). It's very plastic-y, but it works well with my OM-D E-M1. Quick to focus, pretty sharp. I just find I like having a 14-150 on the camera more than the 40-150.
