Great monitor for my 2018 mac mini!
We I have had the monitor for a couple of weeks now. It is a good looking design, the stand adjusts well and is solid so I have no issues with monitor jiggling when I am at the desk typing. The ultra wide footprint is great and lets me have so much on my desktop. I use parallels and run both windows and OS X on my mac mini. Quirky, Good... but expensive
Full disclosure, I knew what I was getting into when I bought this monitor and am pleased with how it is performing The input options are varied and provide enough connectivity to work with most things - unless your computer is from 1985 and you are driving VGA.... Works with 2019 MacBook Pro at 5K resolution
Just purchased 2019 MacBook Pro, i9 2.4GHz CPU, 2TB SSD, 32GB RAM, Pro Vega 20 GPU. Upgraded to Catalina. Purchased usb-c to display port cable for 4K - tested and worked to get 4K resolution on this monitor. Purchased thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 3 cable rated at 40GB, 100W, 5K @ 60Hz - worked to get 5K resolution on this monitor. Purchased two other usb-c cables rated at 20GB and both failed to transmit video/audio to this monitor. Make sure you use a thunderbolt 3 cable that has the appropriate power and bandwidth rating to transmit 5K resolution on this monitor.

Not YET supported by 2019 16 MBP
I thought I did a lot of research on this monitor, but apparently not enough to know it will not give you full 5k via thunderbolt 3 out of the recently released, 2019 16 MBP. I have tried every configuration/cable combo, to no avail. I knew some 2018 models had some issues but saw working on a 2016 MBP, so I thought I would roll the dice... no bueno. Other than that, it's a great looking beast. I'm hoping a fix will come soon. I'll just roll with muddy pixels for a bit. I'm up for suggestions? (aside from trying a different cable)

Worth the investment
As a Audio-Visual Designer and Control Systems Programmer that works in CAD and Visual Studio everyday I can say that this monitor is exactly what I was looking for. The 5K by 2K design for this size is perfect because there is no horizontal image stretching, or blurry text like most other stretched out 4K by 1080pscreens. A sharp 5K by 2K image allows me to view my dynamic blocks, as well as lines of code as they were intended; crisp and clear. Best Regards- Bruce, Parallax AV Design.

Using with 2018 13 Macbook Pro. Only slight issues when plugging it in with Thunderbolt-3 cable...sometimes the computer does not sync immediately and have to unplug and replug back in to fix, but no other issues. I use a wider screen instead of 2 monitors because I can choose to have windows side by side or 1 large drawing open...(CAD, Design tools)

Watch out for burn in!
Be sure to turn on your screen saver. After a long video editing session, I moved over to photoshop for some image work and noticed the outline of the video application windows were still visible on screen. I thought it was something my image until I realized what it was.

Great image quality
Very happy with the monitors performance. Image quality is excellent. Easy set up and I can control the volume on my keyboard because all the apps/programs I use work that way. Dont use it for games so I cant speak to that.

Doesnt work with MacBook Pro
Did not work with my MacBook Pro 2015, or MacBook Pro 2019. Image was cropped and never filled the entire screen. Tried a variety of cables specced for 5k transmission. Did not have this issue with other 5k monitors.

4K Ultrawide
Contrast is still quite bad but that's normal with todays tech. No visible BLB just like my LG 27BK85U. Wish it had some USB ports on the side like dell monitors
