Great Performance and Resolution
PC Specs: -i7 3770K OC 4.3GHz -2080 TI I purchased this after getting the Valve Index to do a side by side comparison for iRacing. The HP Reverb resolution is noticeably better. It is clear enough to read clearly everything on my desktop and screen door effect (SDE) is not seen. The field of view (FOV) is narrower than the Index, but not as big of a deal for my application. Market leader in clarity...quality not so much
This headset is like a box of chocolates...you never know youre going to get.I bought and returned my first unit direct from HP I had constant disconnection problems. Even a bought a USB 3.0 card and hub... no dice. Perfect for flight sims
I bought this headset for flight sims, particularly IL2 and DCS. This is absolutely in another league compared to my now retired Rift CV1. The difference is between watching at something akin to 640x480 and seeing HD for the first time. Display is crisp and the inside out tracking works perfectly, at least for my seated use case - havent tried it for anything else.
