Linking headset to drone was too painful
I took me, my daughter and wife 40 minutes to try to link the devices and we were unsuccessful. DJI needs to do a better job in making it easier to link headset.

Amazing. But not for people with progressive lenses.
The resolution and immersion with these goggles are amazingly good and very fun. There is no diopter adjustment - meaning that you cannot adjust focus to your eyesight. DJI does promote the fact the you can wear eyeglasses with the goggles. However, I wear transitional lenses which does not work with the goggles. I had to buy some cheater reading glasses for $8.00 to use the goggles.

Great way to fly
No more guessing on if their are wires around or how close you are to something. You lose your awareness of the drone and still have to be sure the area above you is clear, but I fly with much more confidence. My only complaint is that they lenses should be adjustable for vision issues. Although lenses are offered, with the price you pay they headset should be adjustable. I am the envy of the guys I fly with.

So much better than flying with a tablet
If you have ever wanted to climb inside your aircraft so you could direct the camera from the pilots seat, THIS is what you can do it with. I have a tablet for my Mavic Pro and while you can fly just fine with it you dont feel connected to it - more of a detached relationship. Put the DJI goggle on and you BECOME your aircraft, in complete and confident control - night and day difference. The difference between framing your photograph with the re... Show More

Like, but cannot use them...yet
Several things to note: These seem to have excellent optics & screen resolution, but I cannot use them until my new reading glasses show up. The focal distance is about 14", and my glasses don't get me quite there. If you have excellent near-vision, you should have no troubles. I hope I can use the touchpad on the side; it's controls don't look to be remotely similar to the same menu selections performed by their phone app. I hope the comple... Show More

Never got to work
Still unable to connect goggles with spark. Dji assistant 2 is not compatible with windows. (Driver issues...google it). DJI support is useless. $450 paper weight, but i waited too long to take it out of box and attempt to use.

DJI Goggles FPV Headset returned
I actually sent it back after a couple weeks. I was really looking forward to using these to be my primary controller of my new Mavic which I purchased at the same time. The Mavic was perfect and still fly it. There first problem I had with the goggles was I could not see through them as everything was blurry. I where bifocals. and looking through the distance part of the glasses everything was out of focus. Well the first thing I did was order a... Show More

Worth the Coin.
Hi: I've recently purchased a set of DJI goggles to complement my DJI fleet. I use the DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus & the Mavic Pro so I figured why not the goggles. Love them. If you race they may not do the job you want them to, but if your a photographer I think you'll like them. I had no problems linking them up with my drones and the sensation you have while flying is second to none. They're pricey but worth it if you're looking for the next level of flying. "ENJOY"!!

Not there yet...
I have to say that the negative reviews were spot on. Leaving the issue of price aside, the goggles are heavy, they don't fit well, are uncomfortable, and perhaps most importantly, some will need to wear reading glasses under the goggles. Will be returning these but looking forward to buying version 2.0.

As many other reviews said they're a good first gen product
I'm writing this review on the basis of a week of intense flying a Mavic Pro Platinum with the goggles. Here are my thoughts on them: -Well built, feel solid including the headband adjustment -a tad heavy on the front side, but not enough to detract from flying through the 3 batteries included in the fly more combo -outstanding ocusync range, even better than the mavic controller (both used in European CE mode): I seldom saw them switch to 720p ... Cumbersome to activate and connect to Spark
The instructions to activate the googles and connect them to the Spark drone are not very userfriendly. Took me several hours to figure it out. Once you have done this, everything works fine and I actually like the googles.

Needs work
The video is crisp and high quality. The fit is not. The unit sits cockeyed on my head, right side low. Raising the viewer (a good idea) cannot be reversed without using 2 hands. Not helpful. The menu is not the same as the menu for the Go 4 App creating confusion and limiting usefulness. The original USB to mini USB cable failed almost immediately. I was hoping to use this to sub for the DJI GO 4 app in photo shoots where seeing the video being recorded was paramount. This product falls far short of being able to do that.

I'd buy many more of these if they were cheaper! Lol
Awesome experience wearing the goggles while flying my Phantom 4 pro plus and my Spark...makes you feel like your actually flying inside the cockpit of your bird!

Adds so much to the flying experience
Used these goggles in conjunction with a Phantom 4 Pro. The VR aspect of these goggles is amazing. It's my first goggles, and I was not disappointed. It's so much fun to see the neighborhood from the air, rather than just watching the drone fly around. The only problem is a DJI problem - with the Phantom 4 Pro, I cannot connect both the goggles and a tablet. Since the settings are in the tablet, it must be connected when the drone is turned on, t... Show More

Basic First Generation DJI Issues
1. They are real heavy 2. There is no top of head adjustment so unless you have a flat head they will topple off. That top plate you see in the photo is rigid and fixed. Something this heavy requires you get the strap low around your head. Not possible by bad design. 3. There is no diopter adjustment so if you cannot focus your eyes to 3 in from of your nose you will have to wear at least reader glasses. Good luck with getting glasses under these... Show More

Flying kinda of feeling
I used it while flying the Mavic. The resolution is great and it feels like u r in the copter itself.

Doesn't work as advertised.
I planned to used these goggles with my Phantom 3 Pro, knowing that they would only function as a HDMI monitor. I had previously purchased the DJI HDMI module upgrade for the Phantom 3 Pro, and have been using a HeadPlay google set with no problem in addition to occasionally hooking it up to an outdoor 47 LCD TV for the family to view while I fly. Connecting to the DJI goggles to my HDMI signal does nothing, and nothing in the owners manual gives any clue to this specific task. If you purchase these goggles, make sure you plan to use them with one of the compatible DJI drones to avoid failure.

Love B and H and DJI. I own almost everything DJI makes. Goggles are used to setup and frame videos. Perfect!

These googles allow you to see and compose you videos/photos. Just remember to focus first.

Great addition but a little large for travel.
A little early for my review. Played with them a little and they are great for giving people a ride. Still have a lot to learn but so far so good. It isn't 360 view and you are limited to 30' angle left to right but it makes sense given the mavic camera setup. I'm assuming on inspire drone maybe you could configure it to allow 360' rotation but don't have any experience with that drone.

Good idea but not something that was practical to use
Had great hopes but found the googles were heavy in the front and did not fit well. All the weight is in the front. The goggles are held on your head by and adjustable strap that depends on the back of your head to make it secure. The only way I could flip the goggles down without them coming off my head was to hold the back of the head strap while doing it. Also, I wear glasses and I could not get a clear display with my glasses on or off. The g... Show More

Arrived with a nearly dead battery, and it will not charge.
I just received my DJI Goggles after months of waiting, and they arrived almost DOA. It took only hours until they were dead - it is impossible to recharge the battery. I get a quick flash of green, but then nothing. Dead. Tried different cords, confirmed power at the outlet, etc. to no avail. Just search the Internet - this is apparently a common problem, resolved with replacement of the Headband Module. I purchased through B&H, so they're going back... because I can count on excellent service through B&H. Very disappointing.

Worked for 3 days, got bricked after firmware update
These worked for 3 days before they told me I need to update my firmware. It limited my flight to like 10m until I updated. So I went and updated my firmware, which completely bricked the goggles. Sent into DJI, and despite them still being for sale and in stock on DJI's website, I have yet to receive my replacement. Just not worth it.
