Great sounding omni mic
I'm really tempted to give this five stars. It's marketed as a measurment mic but I got two of them for use as drums overheads and they have not dissapointed me in the least. I don't know how Behringer does it. It's a bargain at it's usual price and B&H beat that by a few dollars. I am a lifelong musician and I have a lot of recording gear and mics. Low and mid frequency response is good. High frequency response is not as precise and the self noise level is not low as is expected from a measurement mic but hey, it costs less than 50 bucks. It doesn't come with a calibration certificate which is a big minus. A measurement microphone SHOULD have one. Worthwhile
This is in my opinion one of Behringer's better entries. At the heart of this mic is a quality Panasonic capsule, very flat, and probably as close to true omni as you can get. Most omni mics aren't nearly this spherical in their pickup pattern. The one drawback with this mic is its self-noise; Compare it with most any quality condenser and you'll see what I mean. Fast Shipping, Exact as ordered, great!!
Used for high end pro car audio. I could find this Mic nowhere else for such a low price and still be able to get in super fast in a box packed like it should be able to survive a 10,000 foot drop. The mic is awesome and totally flat response, needing no calibration. I bet it will stay that way as delicately as I will handle it. There's not a thing I don't like about this whole experience!

Competes with the best
I use this mic for its intended purpose, as a measurement mic for RTA (real time analysis) and it performs flawlessly. I keep the mic in one location, so I cannot comment on how well it travels, albeit the case it comes with is impressive and would likely cost the same as the mic, if purchased separately. Rumor has it that this mic is also good for acoustic recording. An excellent value.

THREE Thumbs Up!
I bought two of these after I saw them used to mic drums and to record a concert. I have to tell everybody, THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Extremely high quality, durable, and the best part: you can scream into it, and it won't clip! I highly recommend these microphones to anybody who wants an inexpensive, extremely high quality mic!

Great Mic
I'm using this mic for engineering measurements. It has a flat response from 20Hz to 20kHz. The performance is comparable to mics 10-20X the price. It hasn't been qualified in a class 1 measurement system as far as I know. However, it works well for back to back measurements, design or troubleshooting. Great value.

Good enough for Live Sound Analysys
Th product works fine for Live Sound P.A. analysys, where you need good and fast RTA responses, not extremely precise as needed in recording studios or similar. What you get for such a price is excellent, but of course don't expect to have a 100% linear frequency response

Omni-Directional Measurement Mic
Used to measure a room and tune it for live sound applications and/or a room set up for recording. Works well with Smaart software and REW software.It does have a little noise around 1K and up but not a deal breaker either. Good investment for the money.

ECM8000 review
I used this for measurement using the REW program and it worked great. I was able to get much better results with this mic than with a LDC. I'll probably try it for recording with a portable device in places I'd prefer to not take expensive stuff.

A replacement mic for Room Calibration
During a relocation, the RTA mic from the ARC system was lost, IK multimedia sales and tech support was contacted for a replacement, after 2 attempts and 60 days of no response, I needed to replace the micrphone, this microphone was chosen.

Great Mic
Unlike most Behringer products, this mic works and sounds very good. This mic is actually one of their best products I've used. It's inexpensive and has a flat frequency response that is comparable to higher end omni's that cost a lot more.

It's Close!
Pretty close for setting up auto EQ, but a little tweeking is still in order. It does what I thought it would do though, so sure am not complaining! I own several Behringer products and I am so far quite pleased overall.

Good MIC for RTA Auto-EQ with DEQ2496
I use thsi mic with the Berhringer DEQ2496, and it integrates very easily with that unit. Woks fine, and has nice case and accessories. Highly recommended. NOTE: Not for live voice recording.

Awesome for Spot situations!
For the money you pay for it, it's a great deal. Due to its linear directional capacities, it's better off on spot situations when trying to over a very specific audible spot.

Good for room correction
I use this mic for room correction with MathAudio Auto EQ and M-Audio Audiophile 2496. Works perfectly fine. Highly recommended.
