I selected this headphone amplifier for my home studio after comparing many alternatives for one primary reason: Discrete, balanced inputs for all signals. Even though my snake from control room to studio is only 50 feet, it is enough to pick up line frequency hum for units with unbalanced inputs. Clean as a whistle and plenty of gain. If you can spend the extra, I can't image you'll want to ever return.
