Does exactly what it should
I have a pair of SE215 earphones that I've used every day for about 2 years. Get the black one
I rated this cable a 4 whereas I would rate the black one as a 5. This is a comparison between the two and if compared to true audiophile cables they would rate differently. Used on shure SE535's. For a sub $ cable both are excellent performers. The clear one, while it looks nicer, is prone to additional tangling and suffers additional microphonics. The casing is 'tackier' than the black & kinks on occassion. Supposdly it will tarnish but I burn through 2 cables a year (hence the inexpensive cables) so it won't last that long.

Great price, great item
While the wires inside the Shure ear buds may be brittle, at least they were thinking when they made them field replaceable. Thanks to B&H photo for the fast shipping and a price that was even better than getting them direct from Shure's warranty department (warranty=laughable, send them to us and two weeks later you'll get a check, meanwhile you'll need to go buy some new ones for the rehearsals and gigs that fall within that two week period). Thanks, B&H, you saved the day!

Earbuds working like new again
I'm happy that Shure recognizes that the cable will wear out long before the earbuds themselves. On other brands I've had to throw out and buy new earbuds once the cable was worn. But not with Shure. Also they've improved the size of the 1/8 jack housing so that I can now plug it into my iPhone even when there's a protective case on it (previously I had to remove the case).

Makes my SE535s look & feel like NEW!
Being able to find a Clear Replacement Cable for the one that came with my SE535s was a relief! After extensively wearing the original clear cable (which became a bit dried out and had some added color), finding the replacement was EXCELLENT! Now having the smooth, free moving, 100% clear cable attached to my SE535s this makes them look and feel like NEW!

Great cable for even greater earphones
I needed a replacement cable for my Shure 535s. After yanking on the original cable many times while doing lawn work, the original developed an intermittent connection. This cable is well made, but as with most quality products, deserves to receive decent care. That's my goal for this replacement cable. Love the gold connectors and mini jack!

Great!
This is just a cable, but it is great. My old one was cutting out so I sent it back to Shure, which takes 4-6 weeks. I got this next day shipping and had for a gig that weekend. And now when my other pair comes back, I will have a back up. Works great! Also the bendable pieces over the ears are very comfortable!!

Fragile ! Handle with Care !
I always thought my Shure SE535 headphones are nice but Way overpriced. Now after a year and a half of careful use the cable needs replacing. There's a short at the joint right above the jack causing a dead earpiece. The cable is replaceable but for the price you pay for the 535's This shouldn't happen !

Decent
Good quality cable. Well see if it holds up as well as the original. Only drawback us the length, its way too long. I have read many similar reviews from people complaining sbout the length so Shure must not value customer feedback or they would offer a shorter length. Other ear phone manufacturers do.

Identical to original
Perfect replacement cable for the one that came with my Shure se215 earbuds originally. Works exactly as the original did, no issues. Would reccomend buying here rather than Amazon as some people have reported getting knock offs from Amazon.

Yup they work
They work. They'll work for another 8-12 months then i'll have to buy another cable. This is my 3rd or 4th cable but I am hard on them. Beats the heck out of replacing the IEM's or sending them in for service just to replace the cable.

Exactly what I needed
I've been using the SE215 headphones for about a year and the connection at the left earphone went dead from crimping it to tightly. This replacement cable was a lifesaver. It works exactly as the cable that came with the SE215s.

Convenience in a cable

dependable with style
As we all know wires can get caught resulting in mishaps which cry for another pair of earphones. But with Shure, that issue is no longer an issue. Great quality, at a good price tag.
