A Wonderfull device, works well, but.......
This is a great device, works as advertised, but I wish it came in colors other than white as it stands out like a sore thumb when shooting closeups. Perhaps a choice of sleeves of various colors would help. I ordered a dead cat wind muff for mine but it hasn't yet arrived. If on the other hand, your subject happens to be wearing a white shirt, it goes well in his/her pocket and isn't so noticeable.

Great when it works-Unreliable.
The sound quality is undeniably spectacular, but the mic only works half of the time. Most of the issues are caused by the smartphone app required to operate the mic. Unfortunately I've lost some material because of issues syncing the recordings with my smartphone. The lack of proper gain control is also frustrating. Right now I can't rely on it as a primary audio source so I keep it on hand as a backup microphone. It's sad because the sound quality is amazing. It it weren't for a useless smartphone app required for operation I would recommend this microphone.

Great Mic, but beta software
On my initial test runs I found the mic to be incredible on my android phone however I'm disappointed on the application on the video recording limitations... - 10:40 recording limit (3.45gb size) - No AE/AF lock support - No manual mode on video recording I would recommend to wait until Filmic Pro is supported or updates are made to the application. THE MIC ITSELF IS QUITE GOOD - THE APP NOT SO MUCH:
The mic is easy to use and has great quality sound, however the app you have to use with it is very limited - you can't control anything except the quality ( 4K, full HD, etc.) I'm used to using some great apps like FilMic Pro where I can control everything from exposure to ISO to focus and a lot more. I'm keeping the Memory Mic but I'm really hoping they figure out a way to allow it to work with other apps. Unless you can and I haven't figured it out yet!
