Panasonic AW-HE40HW PTZ Camera with HDMI Output (White)
Fantastic Picture quality
The HE40SW was our choice over the HDMI version for a number of reasons. firstly, We use CAT6 (POE) and an SDI cable and that's it. This means I don't need to run separate power. 2 Cables and the cameras are up and running. SDI also gives us much longer cable runs than HDMI and using the BlackMagic Television Studio 4k means we have no converters.

Poor low-light performance, smooth motion
This camera has excellent PTZ control that is very smooth. Smooth enough to be able to do on-air moves from the controller even when zoomed in quite a bit. Unfortunately, the camera requires a lot of light and if you don't have excessive lighting then you are going to be cranking the gain. While the noise reduction is good, there was still a significant amount of noise when running the gain at 24db, which is where we needed to be even with dedicated video lighting in a small room.

Great Value
These cameras are reasonably priced and operate smoothly. One issue is color clarity in low light, but this can be adapted to work in all situations.

Small and powerful cammera
Is the 4th camera we install in a church. And we can still expand the system a lot. All controlled with the same unit, and using the same POE switch.
