Super Picture !!
Replaced a Samsung plasma from 2012. All I can say is Wow!! Will take a little time to get used to all the new controls. Couples with the LG 820 and a Devon AVR4300.

Best plasma replacement and a superb value!
Retiring a Panasonic Viera plasma and wanted to go a little bigger over the 54. Have run the gamut from rear-projections to DLP, LCD, plasma and LED displays with older plasma being the preference for color and black reproduction. OLED first time
Great quality. I have a Sony UHD D850X that Ive bought in 2016 and the difference is remarkable. Connected to Marantz A/V receiver installed on top of the fireplace. Most of the time used with Apple TV, Spotify and work flawless. The image can be seen with good quality from every angle in my living room. I was looking for that because is we meet and people are distributed on different places while chatting, eating and drink. The ARC HDMI connection works perfect saving remotes. You will need new HDMI cables otherwise connection will fall, consider to spend another bunch with those. Great TV.

Beautiful picture; easy to use.
We bought this for our family room along with an LG Soundbar. Both were installed by a professional who mounted the TV and Sound bar and set up a universal remote for us. I love the standby feature which displays beautiful framed artwork.

Only downside is I had to drop the picture quality some because they tv was so vivid I was getting the Soap Opera Effect.

Very good picture
One of the best pictures I have seen. I have difficulty hearing some older soundtracks of so was disappointed to learn I could not find a way to connect ear buds to the TV or LG sound bar but that is a small potatoes problem and overall I am happy with the LG Tv and sound bar.

The best of the best
I cant say enough about this TV. I have never experienced such profound viewing. I looked at a lot of televisions before making this purchase, talked to a lot of people, and read way too many reviews to be considered sane. If you have the money buy it, its a total new experience in viewing. Color, depth, and detail, are stunning to say the least. Very, very happy with this purchase and I got a great deal from B&H as usual.

Vertical line one month of use in.
I got a defect and my TV developed a vertical line within one month of use. I was asked to go through LG to make use of my warranty, and now they say the part needed is back-ordered and have to wait about a month to receive my repaired TV, effectively wasting one month of the warranty service, as it seems Ill spend the whole month of February without it.

Screen Darkness?
This is a duplicate review. I wanted to respond to the 3 star review that commented on darkness of the picture. I had a darkness issue until I discovered that Dark Frame Insertion was turned on. I turned it off and the picture had all of the brightness I could want.

Great picture & sound
That said, directions for getting out of box & set up were stick figures that made no sense. It wasnt complicated, one sentence would have worked better. Still a learning curve to connect to my cable box & router. No regrets on this purchase. B&H did an excellent job.

Awesome picture
This television does it all. Access Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, right from the television. The picture is incredible. Watch an old movie over again and see things you never saw before.

Great Picture - Easy Set-up
TV was delivered on time with no problems. Setup was easy and the picture is clear and bright. Turned off the power saver button and the picture became brighter and more clear.

Good picture, buggy software
Picture of the TV is great (especially at night). Default brightness for video games is pretty dark however, so youll need to make adjustments. Playing Red Dead Redemption I set brightness within the game all the way to max and its still really dark. The big problem is the software. intuitive setup and great picture
I guess everyone knows that this LG OLED TV has great picture quality, but equally important was the setup. After many years of using a Play Station to interface with the WWW, this was a breeze. 4K, also great for DVD
4K doesn't even start to tell the story of the C8. The image processing and dynamic range are incredible. The image is so beautiful that I just want to sit and admire it. I do many DVD's. DVD's are not even close to 1080. I use a Blu-Ray player (LG BD390) to upscale them to 1080p, then the C8 upscales them to the 4K. This is up there with the best purchases I have ever made. This LG OLED C8PUA-65 is so easy to set up thy don't even give you many directions. Mine is on the base and hooked in immediately to my processor with one HDMI input. Color settings took a less than 5 minutes. the picture is beyond my expectations. Fast easy purchase from B&H.
