98% DCI-P3 factory setting is stunning
We have a good colorimeter for properly configuring color a workstation display, however the factory setting on this LG is so stunning, we were not able to improve it manually. The USB-C PD passthrough requires an external charger. No power goes to USB-C with just the display power plugged in. I made a good choice buying this monitor
My brand-new 32UL950-W now has a 102 hours runtime and I can say I am very satisfied with it. I am not using the monitor for gaming but for professional photo development and video editing in a Windows 10 environment. Great product. Accurate colour. Fast shipping. We had tried lg ultra wide 34 5k2k but found height was too short for proper workspace. This monitor is about 2 taller than ultra wide. Works well with 18 Mac mini in dual display except one monitor is limited to 30hz while the other runs smoothly at 60hz. Same result with 15 Mac Pro. Powers MacBook Pro 2017
There are two cables with the same connections that come with the monitor. One is a USB-C and another thicker cable with identical appearing connectors that is Thunderbolt 3. There is a lightning bolt on the Thunderbolt 3 cable to make it easy to identify. In order to make use of power to MacBook Pro and display, be sure to use the Thunderbolt 3 cable. This is on page 9 of the manual. When rotated at 90 degrees this is one tall monitor for retouching headshots and Portrait Aspect photos.

Bright & colorful
The colors on this display are amazing and the screen is very, very bright. I have used in on Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 and found the 32 4K setup to be fantastic for day-to-day work. No issues with using DisplayPort or using the Lightening connector with an Thinkpad X1 (gen6). The only negative is the box showed up beat up and punctured in a couple of places. That is neither LG or B&Hs problem, but I was happy to see that the packaging did its job and protected the monitor.

Sharper, brighter, etc
My wifes previous monitor was a Samsung 32 monitor. It was a good monitor but could connect only via HDMI to her new Mac Mini. This LG monitor connects via Thunderbolt 3. With her visual issues we can more clearly see text and images and it allows her to continue to use her computer without other assistive devices/technologies. Also LG provides all cables you might need for TB3 or HDMI in the box. The monitor was easy to assemble, connect and use. Whats not to love.

Good monitor, but green tint on display
This is a good monitor, with good colors, light and esasy to change height and incline. My unit came with 2/3 of screen having neutral background, and 1/3 with greenish tint, that can not be changed. Yes, I did calibrate with Spider 5 Pro, but the same green shows up. I am using it for high quality photography and video, so this is un-acceptable. Returned to B&H for refund. B&H has great service and always comes through.

will not wake up from sleep
Great monitor, good quality hardware and picture. HDR support is as advertised. I have it connected via HDMI and it randomly would NOT wake up from sleep. I have to physically unplug, plug back in. Tried changing all power settings both in monitor and comp settings - no luck. I've googled the issue and it appears there are similar complaints for a few years about LG and Samsung monitors, no resolution in site.

Yellow tint in sRGB and Rec709 mode
The DCI-P3 mode looks perfect. However, when switching to sRGB and Rec709 mode, the colour temperature looks much warmer, with a yellow tint. The white point colour is completely different. This is unacceptable for a professional monitor. It seems like a firmware problem to me, but LG technical support says this is normal. I strongly suggest not to buy this monitor if you will use the sRGB or Rec709 mode.

Great with my 2016 MacBook Pro
Using this with my 2016 MacBook Pro. Thunderbolt 3 connected perfectly while daisy chained with my Drobo 5D3. Someone previously mentioned it not charging their MBP. I can verify that it charges my MBP while using it. It should given the power brick for the monitor is so large.

Very good match for my 2018 MacBook Pro 15
I struggled with choosing large monitor for video home editing station. Wanted a IMacPro for speed and monitor but not the price. Decided to stick with this combo for a while longer. Glad I did. An X-Rite color profiler matched this combo up and I am very satisfied.

Fantastic display, bummed it wont charge 2018 MBPro
Amazing screen, very happy with the clarity and screen. However, part of the reason I forked out the dough for this screen was to have only 1 cable to my 2018 MBP, but it wont charge it - guess the power supply is not strong enough :(
