Green screen of death. Tried two. Both broke.
tl;dr Don't use these with Macbook Pro's USB-C ports. - - - - - First off, these monitors do look beautiful. But there's some bad circuitry in the USB-C port. I use them with a 2016 Macbook Pro and I use the USB-C port for power and display. These monitors last a couple days before something gets fried. And it doesn't completely die. No smoke. Exceptional Monitor
Really surprised by the negative reviews. I guess they must have gotten lemons. I've had this monitor for almost 2 yrs with zero problems. I just ordered a 2nd one. This monitor is IPS and covers 99% of the srgb color space - as a designer/animator this was very important and the price was right ( A lot of adobe RGB and sRBG monitors are several hundred dollars more). Also USB-C is nice to have.

Great addition to a iMac 5k
Ive been using this for a 18 months and am looking for another. Shocked to hear the negative reviews. I use this daily as an extended desktop for my 27 5k imac, power is via the power plug and video is over USB-C. Works great for my xbox as well. The silver matches closely with the iMac

Image retention after less than 2 hrs
My monitor showed image retention (burn-in) after simply having my Mac Mail and Google Calendar on the screen for a couple hours while working. Excellent monitor aside from this, but I'll be returning and not risking purchasing again. Major defect. Monitor is basically useless now.

died in less than a week
Great monitor, great size, great picture. Died in less than a week. Worked fine the I left, was dead when I arrived the next morning. Screen black, button illuminated white, no on-screen menus, i tried multiple cables from multiple sources.

Great Monitor and excellent price
This is a very fine monitor at exceptional value. Screen is bright and clear and consistent. I use it with USB-C and it powers my laptop and takes video/audio all with one tiny cable

Works Well For Editing Video
I am a videographer and I edit 3 - 5 hours a day. This screen works well for that purpose. Love the size size and the true colors. I would recommend it.
