Nice Camera For Our Granddaughter
Our 10 year old granddaughter wanted a camera for Christmas and this is a nice camera for the money. My only disappointment is that it uses two AA batteries instead of having an internal rechargeable battery. So, I had to spend another $20 on four rechargeable AAs and a charger.

Great low cost camera for Macro Shots
the Kodak FZ43 is a fine camera with one drawback....I eats up its two "AA" batteries rather quickly....for occasional use it is fine but if you plan to take lots of pics like I do for eBay, buy the FZ53 which is re-chargeable .....both claim to take Macro Shots.....the FZ43 I have takes very clear shots even two inches away and I assume the FZ53 would also..Don, Sherman TX

Eats Batteries
It's a nice little light weight camera that takes decent images. But you'll be lucky to get more than 7 or 8 shots before the batteries die. Brand new Duracell or any other battery fails almost immediately. You could easily spend more on batteries than the camera itself in a short period of time.

Great Starter Camera, Poor Battery Performance.
I got this camera for my 8 year old daughter. She loves the camera and takes it everywhere with her. The pictures are good, the zoom is great, easy to carry, very poor battery life. I am replacing the batteries every other day. Some times they only last one day depending on how much she is using the camera.
