Awesome Trackball
I'm used to working on Keningston Trackballs in various recording studios, and I really wanted one in my office as well, so I jumped on B&H's recent flash sale on these. It's a really nice upgrade over the logitech marble trackball I was using previously. The ergonomics are night and day, thanks to the wrist rest and the larger size. It's also nice to have the scroll ring, which was absent on the logitech.

Doesn't work for me ergonomically
I have used track balls for as long as they've been available. I bought this unit when it was on sale because it received 4 star reviews, and I'm starting a major graphics project and thought a new device might bring a new perspective to the work. The Logitech's that I've used for years place the ball to be operated with the thumb, and your index and middle fingers naturally land on the two buttons, with a wheel in between ... the only tiny movem... So happy again to have this!!
I hate mice, they are just annoying with the moving and having to pick it up and move again. I had one of these when it 1st came out and LOVED it. but after many years of use it got tired and then I knocked it off the desk by accident and that was that. At the time I was poor and couldn't afford a new one. But then recently B&H here had it on a ridiculously awesome sale of less than 1/2 price so I snatched it up. you do have to kinda break them i... The Best Tool For Graphic Design

Kensington 4-Button USB Expert Pro Mouse - Best there is!
I've been a trackball user for over 15 years. Most of my day is spent doing graphic design, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. After learning to use a trackball I would never go back to a regular mouse. The efficiency this device provides is unparalleled, programmable buttons make repetitive actions/tasks easy. I actually bought this as a backup as my original Expert Mouse which is going on 7+ years, but still works perfect. Although now with lots of use some of the finish has worn off the buttons, etc. Kensington builds great products, hope they never stop making this mouse. Happy trackball user!

Solid
Over ten years ago I used the huge Kensington cue ball track ball. When it wore out, a replacement was rather expensive so I tired several different mice and trackballs. I've spent much more looking for a decent substitute but when B&H ran a special on the Expert, I bit. I am happy I did. It is steady which works well with a hand that isn't so much any more. The scroll ring is a bit awkward for me but a neat feature that I'm trying to learn.

The best trackball out there
The trackballs take over 3 million clicks a year here. Eventually they micro switch will fail but I doubt you will get close to clicking it that many times in your lifetime.

I love Kensington Trackballs
I love the Kensington Trackballs as my hands do not get tired using and they provide for much easier screen accuracy in my work. Only downside is the rings on these models isn't as smooth as I'd like, but functionally it works great. I have at least one on each of my computers, sometimes two when I want to switch between hands. Great price from B&H, so I bought 2 more.

Durable and don't want to miss it
About 18 years ago I went into a @ and saw them use the first version of the Kensington trackball. It was extremely dirty and showed its continuous use and age. But it worked extremely well. Back then I was so impressed that I bought one. I never regretted it and even after extreme long usage they still last.No matter what you are using it for - it gives a much better feeling then a mouse: Very precise cursor control - or - when playing games you... What happened to these ??
I bought my first Expert mouse 6 years ago and couldn't work without it since. I do lots of audio and video editing. The ball however got a chip in it and it became madening to use. Kensington does not offer a replacement ball (they want to sell a new unit of course). So, I bought a new one. What I received was nothing like the previous one, looked exactly the same but the plastic was thinner and cheesy and it makes a ton of noise. The whole thin... Show More

Took me a few days but I grew to love it
Took me a few days until I get used to how the trackball works, but it's been amazing since. It's easier to move, especially if you have to skip around over a few monitor screens. The wheel and trackball allow you to use different fingers for control unlike regular mouse where heavy work is loaded on just 2 fingers. A bit pricey but if your fingers are getting tired from clicking. Give this or other trackball a try.

No more capal tunnel
I was using the apple magic mouse for years and my hand has become increasingly sore from holding it in around the small mouse. Enter the Kensington trackball, which is programmable for speed and features, and is accurate. While I can't move the cursor as fast as I could with the magic mouse, my hand is no longer suffering from the constant soreness it once had. With time, I suppose I will become accustomed to the trackball and can increase its tracking speed.

Easy on the hand
This is my second 4-Button USB Expert Pro Mouse - Trackball. I still use my first one and bought this one for my media manager. It eases here Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and makes her more productive. The set up is easy. The controls are easy. The ball must be cleaned on occasion and the dust must be cleaned from the ball receptacle.

Carpel Tunnel No More
When carpel tunnel syndrome threatened my mousing hand and thereby threatened my livelihood, I bought a 4-Button USB Expert Pro Mouse Trackball. I did my homework first. I have had mine for five years. When my TV media manager complained of a similar aliment I immediately bought her one and she too has found much relief. It is easy to install and easy to use.

My solution to tendonitis!
Until someone told me about this product, I was unable to use an external mouse. Every one I tried brought on painful bouts of tendonitis! This limited the kind of keyboard I could use. I was tearing my hair out over unsatisfactory touch pads and other such solutions. Occasionally I knock the trackball onto the floor and have to crawl around my office to retrieve it. Other than that, no downside to this product!

Awesome product
I had the first version of this. When i received my new 5k iMac from B and H it was the first accessory I purchased. Fluid movement, it really maximizes efficiency especially on a large or multi monitor(s). I am a professional video producer and photographer and it is a great tool. The scroll ring takes a few days of good use to really break in, but other than that it is perfect right out the box.

Excellent trackball
Excellent trackball for the long usage period. You can rest the whole hand on this pointing device. Very comfortable, no more moving your arm like using the conventional mouse. All five fingers control the trackball actionOnly cons'point: during break-in period, the scroll wheel is stiff, resistant.

Flexible Comfortable Mouse
I bought this mouse to alleviate wrist/hand pain I have been experiencing for the past year doing computer work. I work with AutoCAD software daily, and finding a mouse that provides easy access to most common functions in a comfortable form is difficult. Still working like new, 8+ years later
High School media program that purchased 4, 8 years ago - 1 went missing after a renovation. The remaining 3 are still working like new, so when the mice that came with our computers started having problems, 30 more were acquired. Students are sometimes slow to accept a different approach to what they consider the norm.

Excellent
I am an Architect that uses AutoCAD for design. Utilizing a trackball for design is nearly required with the control it allows within the software. I have been searching for a couple years for one that actually gives such precision control and still feels comfortable in your hand. After testing at least 10 other trackballs this one has fit the bill perfectly. Completely customizable. Completely comfortable. Offering complete precision control. As far as B&H goes, I ordered it on a Tuesday and it was at my door on Wednesday when I got home from work. What more can you ask for? Great job B&H!

At Last, the Trackball for Me
I've never liked mice. While first shopping for trackballs, I decided that one with the largest ball I could find would be best for me. But trackballs weren't very popular at the time, and the Logitech Marble Mouse was the best choice I could find. It's still sold as the Trackman Marble and B&H stocks it; I've never had any complaints about mine, but now that a better selection is available and it's finally time for a change, the Kensington Exper... Very good product.
4 Stars because the driver is not Win 8.1 compatible. Cannot program the two upper buttons. Otherwise, works well. Replaced a 10 year old Expert Mouse 4.0. Necessary as the large track ball does not aggravate carpel tunnel.
