Good and affordable.
It's durable and gets the job done. Works on my Korg Triton without any polarity adjustment. Great...I don't know how I've gone this long without one.

Yamaha FC7 Volume Pedal - Solid
When Yamaha 1st came out with the DX7, this is the pedal I bought back in the day. That's how long I had mine. Solid build. Never any problems until a few weeks ago when the potentiometer final went out on it. It's only a $4 part to replace, but requires soldering which I didn't want to do at this time. I used it heavily back in the day playing 4-5nites a week for ~15years. Then not so much. But started using it again these past 5 years with my ... Show More

This thing is built extremely well
This purchase makes FC-7 #5- I use them on all of my Yamaha synths, it works great on my Korg Kronos, and when I needed a foot controller for my MIDI wind controller I knew this would work perfectly, and it does. I've had some of these since 1987 and they still ALL work great....

Still the best
This is the best volume pedal to get for any keyboard , especially if you use it for Hammond organ sounds. My second one and the first is still going strong after over ten years. Just learned about storing the cable under the pedal. The other one came with Yamaha keyboard and I guess I didn't see a manual for it. I am using this on a Roland. I made a polarity switch cable only to find , I could do it within the Roland with software. Heavy, but it doesn't move underfoot. Big and hard to store in a tight case. But still the best you can buy.

Great Pedal at a Great Price
I have been using the same FC7 pedal for the last 15 years. It works well with my two Yamaha boards. It has held up very well in the last 15 years and the operation still is smooth and steady. Great price as well.

YAMAHA FC7 FOOT PEDAL
Extremely rugged - professional heavy duty construction. Price was lowest I've found after weeks of looking. Free shipping was appreciated. B&H is my favorite store. Telephone employees are cheerful, efficient, and non-pushy. To place an order is always a very pleasant experience.

Smooth, dependable, inexpensive & durable
This basic volume pedal is the best value out there; it feels wonderful under your foot - very solid. smooth travel, with just enough friction; stays put when you take your foot off. There is a tilt adjustment to change the angle at which your foot rests, and 2 plates with screw holes for mounting the pedal to a board for added security. There's also a hole at the heel of the bottom plate that I use to attach my pedal to a bass pedalboard. No kno... Show More

Great keyboard expression pedal
Heavy duty expression pedal, Provides smooth volume changes. I am keyboardist and use with Nord Stage 2. Pedal has just enough resistance to prevent shaky foot volume changes. I have used it trouble free for over 2 years. I like it so much I purchased a back up in case it ever fails.

Don't judge it by the photos.
This volume control pedal is much sturdier than the photos convey. It is heavier than I thought it would be also. Great price for the quality you receive.

Great Pedal!
This pedal works great with my Yamaha keyboard. It has a very solid feel, and the ability to adjust the spring action is a real plus. Highly recommend!

Heavy Duty
This pedal does its job and does it well. It will last as long or longer than your keyboard. The only negative is that it is difficult to get the pedal all the way to 0 volume as it forces your foot to be in an almost upright position.

Works as expected
We are using this as a volume/swell pedal on the NORD stage 2. Works great once you get used to the treadle action. Just what we wanted and needed. It was also less than any other place!

Solid pedal that does the job
Solid pedal that works well with my Yamaha S90 keyboard. It is a little big...it is probably meant for stage use when you have shoes/boots on...but I use it in the studio and it works great.

Perfect organ pedal
I got this to use with a Hammond XK3. I've used a few other pedals with similar wide sweep, but this one has the smoothest volume curve of all of them. From 0 to full volume it has no sudden jumps, but a nice even volume curve all the way up. Well built, solid feel. Highly, highly recommend!

Great for organ!
This pedal is GREAT for organ. I'm using it with a Hammond XK3 and it works wonderfully - very even volume curve, long travel. It's well built, sits nice and low so your knees aren't banging against the underside of the keyboard, and it stays put.

Works!
This goes to a well lnown Italian made 76-key midi controller to facilitate swells in soft-synth drawbar organ sounds. It was plug and play as far as the pedal goes.

Quality & Rugged product
My beat up FC7 from the 1980's finally died, maybe it was the water in my basement that finally killed it.... I like the smooth movement and the fact that it is a well built quality product.

I've never had to use a volume before but found out the Yamaha pedal was the one to buy. Not only did I buy one but I bought two and they work fantastic. They are solidly built and smooth movement. If you are looking for a volume/control per....this the the one to buy......

Satisfied Customer
This is my first control pedal. I've used Yamaha products before, and have high expectations. Package was delivered within the dates provided. Came as advertised. Worked as advertised. Pedal has a smooth action. There's an area under the pedal to store the cord. A screw on the bottom of the base allows the user to adjust the range of movement after fully depressing the pedal from 0-10*. Very happy with the product and customer experience.
