Excellent TV, worth every penny
I upgraded from my old Samsung plasma and I've got to say this TV is excellent for the price. The ambilight feature really sets this tv apart from the others, giving a really cool effect from the back of the TV which mimics whatever is on screen. The tv itself looks sleek with the silver metal stand and thin silver surround. Out of the box picture settings needed a bit of fiddling to get the colour, sharpness and motion looking right but I'm blown away by the quality in both HD and UHD.

Constantly crashes and reboots
The picture quality on this television was decent at this price range with the only real drawback being the black levels which were more of a dark grey. The motion on moving pictures is well handled. The major issue was the fact that within 24 hours of installing the television it began to crash every few minutes. I followed the instructions provided by Philips but the issue remained. Eventuall I had to return the set and opted for a different brand.

Fantastic TV
Easy to assemble and set up, slick design and great quality picture enhanced by the immersive ambilight system. Sound is better than most TVs, but still having it on a Bose soundbar makes the experience so much better!

Really good TV
This is a great TV. Looks and feels quality. Solid metal stand which swivels (but only by around 15 degrees so don’t expect too much turn). Great picture and pretty good sound. For me their factory standard picture setting seems a little dark (I think this is an energy saving eco thing). Easy to select a brighter mode though or brighten the picture. I’m using this to run my Sky Q system on. To get the best sound with this combination make sure you set your sky Q box to Dolby digital sound.

Best TV to buy under £1000 with amazing features
It is an amazing TV for the price which includes features like Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and HDR10+ which isn’t easy to find in any other mid-range TV’s. Can’t think of a better 4K TV. Ambilight feature took my visual experience to another level. All of the issues regarding the Android Operating System have been solved with this new ve 2019 Model. Highly recommended.

If you love ambilight, this is the one...
If you want a tv with ambilight this is the one. Yep its not OLED but at this price the quality is outstanding and ambilight is no gimmick, it makes films look amazing, turns music into party and i think takes strain off your eyes. The remote with keyboard is nice touch, yes updates to android do stop it working but if people read instructions then its easy to re-sync in the settings. It needs a sound bar for the cinema effect, but so do most flat tvs, but its loud enough without.

Great ambilight feature
I had a samsung tv before this which was a curved 4k tv, the colours on this tv are much more natural as the samsung tv is more of a vivid colour scale. The best feature is the ambilight which really makes a difference and is less of a gimmick than people may think, overall, I would thoroughly recommend this tv

Great picture and value
I have been looking at all sorts of TVs from OLEDs to top end LEDs and this Philips TV gives away very little to them. It has a great picture. The menus and apps are much faster than than our old TV and our fire stick to load and navigate. The only real downside is that it doesn’t have the Freeview play ability or the All4 or channel 5 apps, so still use a fire stick The Netflix app has a 4K feed which looks awesome.

All the features you need, Philips hue works with the tv in sync to put on a more immersive show. I also unlike many like android tv that is built in.

Great TV
Good quality TV. Better pic than our Samsung. Can be voice controlled with Alexa. If you already have a philips hue hub, the tv links with your house lights to enhance the lighting effect.

Ambilight TV is just stunning
Philips ambilight feature is really the only 'gadget' that actually works, forget Curved TVS, 3D etc. Ambilight truly enhances your TV experience and nowadays it easily extends to your Hue light as well if you have them :-)
