Easy setup, beautiful picture
It's always nice when things just WORK. And that's how it was with this monitor. I got it to use as a second screen while working at my laptop, as well as to have a higher refresh rate screen for gaming, and a week in, it's fulfilling both of those functions admirably. It came with an HDMI cable included, which meant that I was using it within 15 minutes of opening the box. The colors are crisp, the screen is bright with no light bleeding, and the viewing angles are plenty wide. And on top of it all, it arrived a day ahead of schedule! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Poor Viewing Angle Even Straight On
I used to have a Phillips 21 IPS Monitor years ago when I lived overseas and I thought that this model would be just as great. Unfortunately this item seems to be afflicted with very poor viewing angles, including viewing the screen straight on. It even has vignetting in that the edges of the screen are darker than the middle. My 14 year old Dell 21 4:3 LCD monitor doesnt have this issue nor do the HP 25es 16:9 LED IPS screens I use at work.
