Not for those who are not tech minded
Brilliant at telephoto, very complicated to use if uour not tech minded. Not an item one uses that often (charged battery via the porthole) so was unimpressed when the SD cover broke. Yep you've guessed just out of warranty so nothing can be done. To see if it can be fixed one has to pay £20 to Panasonic and post it to them. if you like quote you pay it and another £20 to send it back. If you don’t like it pay £20 to get the camera back!!!!! For a camera costing this much not impressed.

Tested at a wedding in all lights. Quality great. Good idea of automatic viewfinder that switches itself on when you put your eye to it.

Excellent point and shoot camera
I purchased this camera to replace a similar one which got sand in it. I have been delighted with all aspects of this camera. However the price is less in Currys than at Argis. Regettably Currys did not have one in stock!

Helpful staff in store exchanged a camera for the one mentioned . Little boy much happier as it works with WiFi x

Panasonic TZ80
Good price a bit techy in the menu and settings but with time I'm sure I'll get there. The Wi-Fi transfer to my iPhone is really COOL. My personal opinion for the power button I think is in the wrong place as I keep turning the camera off when I'm trying to take a picture.

Great camera
Replacement for my TZ70 - I needed a high end zoom compact for photographing birds mostly. This gives me the same zoom as before with several extra features. Still getting used to the smaller viewfinder & haven't had a chance to fully test the 4k photo mode, post focus or Wi-Fi function yet but hopefully they will be worth the upgrade. Really impressed with the speed & efficiency of the camera & it's image quality.

Good battery life very versatile camera
Small camera with very long zoom lenses. Still gives very good images at full zoom. Very capable on automatic functions taking the best pictures possible. Programmable buttons to make certain functions easy to turn on or off. WiFi to upload to devices or WiFi storage drives.

We bought this camera as we wanted a smaller digital camera that would litterally fit in to my handbag or coat pocket. It looks great. It is very easy to use - the instruction booklet makes it sound more complicated than it actually is. With the Ai facility you can litterally point and press! But it does loads more than that too. Big screen so you can easily see th photos you are about to take or you can use the view finder. Brilliant camera. Would highly recommend

High Quality Compact Camera
So far very happy with the camera. Needed a more compact camera than my dSLR and I am very pleased with this. For a compact camera it packs a punch as far as quality is concerned and is much easier to stick in a small bag when I don't want to take my big camera. Very pleased.

Excellent all rounder
Lots of features packed into a small package. I haven't tried everything out yet but what I have tried, it's performed really well. Good picture and movie quality and although the auto setting is good for most situations, there is the option for shutter speed priority, aperture priority or completely manual. I wanted something better than my phone to zoom in without loss of picture quality and to be able to see the view in strong sunlight. This suits my needs better than a bridge camera or DSLR

Upgrade
This is a major change away from a DSLR, this is to reduce carrying wait when out walking. What a great decision, this camera is amazing and out performs anything I have owned before. It is so good I bought two, one for me and one for wifey.

disappointing
I bought this camera as an upgrade to my Panasonic TS30, But I found that the build quality is not as good and the picture quality no better than the TZ30, also the reason that I bought this is because it has a viewfinder , however the viewfinder is very small and not much use. Still a good little camera but no improvement to my four year old TZ30.

Good Zoom
Only had camera 2 weeks, has a lot of features i have yet to try and get used to, the zoom is very good and still gives a clear picture at full zoom . The camera is a little heavier than i thought it would be , but as a plus side the camera feels solidly built. I am going to the Lake District next week and will be trying the camera out to try its features out . Have found the touch screen easy and useful to use for quick use
