best value proposition for what it is
I bought these (both 10' and 25' lengths) to replace some fancy but ultimately unwieldy XLR/adapter assemblies that I had been using. As with all Hosa products, you're not buying them for audiophile purposes, and it's not likely that these will stand up to the rigors of daily studio or touring production use. But they get the job done at an affordable price, and there's really not an alternative (especially in some connector combinations) at a reasonable price. BTW the 10' length is pretty short...stick to the 25' length unless you know the shorter one is actually what you need.

Simple and effective
Not much to say here. The cable lets me use headphones while watching tv, and gives me enough slack to run the cable around the wall and behind the couch. Works as expected.

Good quality
I use this to extend my wired headphone so I can soundcheck my mike positions from the preamps. Seems to preserve the sound well. For non-critical jobs, this works fine. It's also a quick go to at the house, when practicing electric/electronic instruments to clarify non-ambient tone.

Excellent product
Today's ear-buds always have mini male connections which then require an adapter to fit 1/4 female connections on most sound equipment. They always are loose. This cable eliminated the adapter and gives a good solid hook-up. Would definitely recommend.
