This Soundbar is superb
Really pleased with the soundbar.Connect it to the Tv with an extra optical cable.The other ways of connecting it are via Bluetooth for music or through aux cable- to my Alexa.

Great sound quality, sleek design.
The sound quality is really great and both the sound bar and sub-woofer have a simple design that looks great. I bought an additional optical cable to connect the bar directly to my TV and it was really easy to set up. The only fault I have is the tiny remote is not always effective, and it's often easier and quicker to press the buttons on the end of the bar than wave the remote in the air! Great quality for the price, highly recommend.

Great value soundbar
Looking for a reasonably priced sounbar with good sound quality, this product rocks all the boxes. Only issue is lack of connectivity for old TV, that said I recommend this product.

OK but not great
Sound is ok but the remote is terrible. Although I could use my TV remote on Hisense TV to change volume there was no visual indication on screen of the volume level. I returned for refund and bought a similar spec and cheaper Philips which is much better.

Quality sound for price
Very good price and quality of sound. bought to replace a much more expensive product on reading previous feedback. Wireless bass speaker is other end of lounge (15 ft) behind sofa and works perfectly

A nice product that fits the bill
A nicely designed product that works well although it only just fits in front of the 50" Hitachi TV. It produces very good sound and is an enormous benefit for the rather poor sound of the TV. The two problems are the very small remote control which could easily get lost and the lack of any on-screen display to let you know what is going on, the only way is to observe the "traffic light" system which shows through the soundbar speaker grill. All in all well worth the money.

Fantastic Value
Cheap enough, sounds way better than the last one I had that I actually paid about the same amount for. Powerful, punchy bass. Bluetooth is very handy. Can't fault

Perfect quality
Absolutely brilliant, the sound quality’s amazing, you can turn the sub up or down. The sound bars really slim and the sub box is long but skinny so doesn’t take up much room. If definitely recommend this to a friend, I couldn’t not use a soundbar now. Devlivery was fast and it arrived at the time chosen. Perfect item from Argos! Thank you.

Good sound bass could be better but calm for price
The set up was a bit long winded and bluetooth sound is very delayed so need atleast a few hdmi cables to connect other devices such as consoles. The bass is not amazing at times but is very good for the price and also wireless so thats a plus.

Better than i expected
Bought this sound bar to improve the sound of my tv. Im iprssed. The sound qualtiy is perfect, deep bass. Because of the subwoofer is wireless, i put it underneath my bed. When it’s loud i feel like in a movie. Amazing sound. Highly recommended. Connected with aux cable at the headphone connector of my tv, therefore no need for the remote, i can set the volume only with the remote of the tv.

Good value for Money
Price is very reasonable and the delivery was very smooth and easy. The setup is straightforward. The subwoofer connects within a few seconds and the sound of the soundbar and the subwoofer is not bad at all. I am quite happy with it. It is great value for money. I did have to buy the optical wire separately as it is not included in the box. But its not an issue if you are aware that you need one.

Great sound
Read previous reviews and went for it at offer price. Had to buy an HDMI lead to directly connect it to my Samsung smart tv but once that was done set up was easy. Now works well with the TV remote adjusting volume and on/off with tv but you need to use included remote to adjust sub-woofer bass. YouView remote also works sound bar. Just beware that if you pause the programme for a certain length of time, the sound bar switches off. Noticed this as soon as I resumed play! Great buy!

transformed my TV,,
Did a good bit of research on tv sound bars, I didnt want to spend a fortune but I didnt want a cheap one either, so this Hitachi sound bar was perfect, I connected mine using the Hdmi cable, my tv is a sony bravia and had the proper ARC port, this means when connected using ARC your tv remote will operate the sound bar,, the bluetooth connection to the sub woofer was seamless, I didnt have to do anything the tv and unit paired aautomatically, tranformed the sound of my tv I recommend product,

Great sound for the money. So easy to set up'
I read various reviews before I bought this soundbar. I have always like Hitachi. My only disappointment is the size of the remote. Like some other reviews I agree it is ridiculously small and very difficult to read and identify the control buttons, even wearing my reading glasses. It would not look out of place as a gift inside a Christmas Cracker!

great sound
this is my first sound bar and i love it, so much better than the tv speaker. I did buy an optical audio cable, but returned it as my tv doesn't have this socket. you can connect them together using the jack cable, which is supplied! so no need to rush out and buy a different cable. also connects easily to Alexa/Echo.

Great soundbar
Great sound bar, really easy to set up and use, sound is really good. Only downside is no wall mounting bracket for the bar. Would recommend, great sound for the price.

The sounds great, unfortunately I can't get it to work with the HDMI and so have to go through the headphone socket. Really inconvenient as i have to unplug it to get sound on my other devices.

No Dolby but still great sound and bass,
I didn't think this would be loud enough, but the price was right and i wanted a wireless bass so gave it a try. input ports, you have phono, optical, HDMI arc & Bluetooth so this will work on any TV old or new. I am very impressed, i have set the bass speaker by the sofa. We then sit about 3 metres from the Tv and the audio is great and the bass is very effective, hard to tell where the bass is coming from as it reverberates around the room and makes action movies much more immersive.
