Good for the price
You get what you pay for.This was bought for my dad who is hard of hearing,but it needed to be simple to use as he is 86.The volume is good,base is ok if you are not too much of a perfectionist. So it is an ok system if you want to improve the sound compared to most flat screen TV's,which isn't normally very good.It does have a little base,but don't expect the earth for what it cost.

Great sound, great price
Bought this to enhance the sound of my tv. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money and was worried that the sound would reflect the price but have not found this to be the case. Really easy to set up, easy to use and really happy with the sound. Has made it much easier to listen to the tv. Only improvement would be if it was possible to link to the sky remote as now have two remotes.

Hitachi Soundbar
This is the 2nd of these bars, I have bought. I got one for myself, was impressed with it, so ended up getting another for my aunt. Its easy to use and setup, the led colour lets you know the mode its in. Would have been nice to come with an optical cable, but apart from that it was great. Remote battery was included, so only needed item (in my case) was the optical cable.

Looking for more sound
Our present smart tv kept going in and out on the sound quality. We have been looking for a sound bar for quite a while but did not want to pay out too much money as the tv was over 3 years old. What a surprise we had when we invested in this sound bar ! It boosts the tv sound to a very good standard . It's easy to install and even easier to use. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional sound quality for price.
Bought this as a replacement to another bar that was not quite as powerful and what a difference. Considering there is no sound adjustments i.e. bass, treble etc the sound is very clear across vocals and music. Considering I have serious tinnitus the best sound quality from a bar yet, at a brilliant price. Only downside is the pathetic remote, otherwise outstanding quality.

Nice, but could be better!
This is a ideal budget soundbar, with very easy set up. Sound from the 2 speakers is good quality, but it could be better by adding settings for movies, sports etc. This soundbar does have an optical connection, also RCA and 3.5 mm jack connections, and there are audio leads included (not optical). It also has a bluetooth connection for streaming sound from phone or tablet.

Sounds good but check the height
This only comes with the wire that plugs in the headphone jack on the tv but it sound good. It's a bit taller than my old one and blocks the receptor for the remote control on my tv so check the height before buying. I'm impressed with the all paper packaging, the only plastic was the wrapping around the box, inside its wrapped in paper and held by cardboard not polystyrene

I was able to set up blue tooth on the sound bar
I was able to set up blue tooth connection very easily and then connect it to my tv it looks smart and has a good sound. When you connect it to the tv you won’t get sound until you use your tv remote control. I find my iPad connection via Bluetooth sounds louder than the tv however the tv is loud enough. It’s a good sound bar for the money and am happy with it.

Hitachi 120w sound bar
This item worked even better than expected. The size is perfect, its not a small cheap soundbar. Its bigger than some more expensive ones. It has nice bass on it and connecting it to your tv or other devices is really easy. It even comes with a nice simple remote control, which most don't. I would 100% recommend this soundbar to anyone. It is definetly worth the money.

Good product reasonably priced
This soundbar has made a big improvement to the sound quality from my LG TV. Easy to install but two niggles. Firstly the lead supplied for the headphone outlet is fairly short. Secondly it's difficult to decipher from the descriptions what leads are actually supplied and whether they are compatible with your TV (this is true of all similar soundbars not just Hitachi).

what an easy product to set up. All products should be this easy. Excellent sound quality. Only down side to this product, is it doesn't stay on, so it has to b turned on every time, which means having to keep the remote from getting lost and as its very small, so far so good but with an 8 yr old, may cause future problems. Would however highly recommend this product.

Fantastic
Great product, sound is clear and full, it connects easily through bluetooth or hard connections. I got mine to pair with an amazon echo dot, a laptop, phone and xbox, each of which has been no problem to set up and works perfectly. My only niggle is that the bluetooth stays connected when the other modes are in use, effectively muting whatever device is connected.

Good value
For the price this is a very good budget soundboard and the extra sound quality it gives to the TV is great. My only gripe is the LED light on the front can't be turned off or dimmed, and it is really bright and distracting if you're watching the TV in a dark room (for a film or gaming session etc). Other than that, definitely worth the money and highly recommended

The sound bar is easy to set up, looks & sounds go
The sound bar is easy to set up but if you choose to use an optical cable as I did you will need to either use a lead with a shorter moulded end or stand the bar on coasters to lift it slightly as the lead will stop the bar from sitting correctly due to the position of the socket on the bar. The sockets could do with moving so that they are on the back of the bar.

My Soundbar
I was very happy with the quality of both the manufacturering of item and Sound I would even go as far as saying Pleasantly surprised how good it sounds considering the price. Only issue I had diagram has connection the wrong way around: The 3.5 RCA Audio Cable Correct fitting is Red and White ends connect to the Soundbar and the Single end to TV Audio Out.

Easy to install, great sound,
Brilliant looks fantastic, brilliant sound, very easy to install, best thing I like is the blue tooth pair button on remote, very easy for first time gadget user,just switch on device wannt to pair, eg phone tablet, set blue tooth button on sound bar, blue dot cames up, hold down pair on remote for three seconds, then your paired brilliant thank you argos x

Sound bar
We have a lovely 55inch tv and the sound wasnt great. So we got this sound bar at an excellent price. Eaay to use, however we also brought a cheep optical lead as we found the sound quaility much better. When the tv is silent we can hear a slight ringing sound that comes from the sound bar.... but concider the price this has greatly improved the sound quaility

My sound bar is really smart and matched the tv
The sound bar is wonderful, my partner is a bit deaf and can't always hear the tv very well, since we have had the soundbar the volume has decreased markedly and my partner is very happy to be able to hear the tv without me having to suffer loud volume.. It matched the tv in colour and was very easy to install so we are very happy with our purchase. Thank you.

Good quality soundbar
The soundbar is good quality. We purchased it as the sound on our tv was poor, and it does a great job. The only problem I had was connecting it to my phone via bluetooth, I couldn't successfully do this. For us this wasn't an issue but for others who will use it as a speaker for music, it may be. All in all, a great quality soundbar at a fantastic price

A BIG bargain!
Having bought a 'super-thin' TV I needed something to sort out the abysmal sound. This certainly does that but is ridiculously large for use with a 22inch TV!! The sound quality is fine and it was very easy to set-up once I had worked out how to connect it [the instructions supplied are ambiguous to say the least and you DON'T need the expensive extra lead]

value for money
A good quality sound bar with excellent rich sound quality, the only down side is the design as they have placed all the conections underneath the bar,this makes it hard to connect the optical lead as there is not enough room inless you can find a right angled fitting one, I hope they realise there mistake and produce them with leads from the back in future

Brilliant for the money
Bought this sound bar as an emergency replacement for my expensive one which had died after 10 years use. I was not expecting too much for the money paid. This sound bar improves the sound of my TV which is what I wanted. The bar won’t give you deep booming base but the quality of sound is more than acceptable. For the price it is an excellent buy.reee

SOUND!!
VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE, OPTICAL CONNECTION FROM MY HITACHI TV IS SUPER. BASS IS NOT BAD BUT NOTE THERE IS NO SUBWOOFER OUT PORT FROM THIS BAR. A GOOD TIP: WHEN USING AN OPTICAL CABLE YOU ALSO GET SOUND FROM THE TV SPEAKERS WHICH MAKES THE ADJUSTMENTS, BASS TONE ETC MUCH MORE PRECISE AND EASY TO DO. JUST MAKE SURE YOUR TV HAS SPDIF (OPTICAL OUT)

Boost you TVs speakers
I bought these to boost my TVs speakers and give a richer sound to the audio. They work just fine. Easy to set up and control with the remote provided with the addition of Bluetooth which works just fine. They have done exactly what I wanted them to do & excellent value for money. If you are looking for Cinema surround sound quality this are not for you.
