Just what I needed
I like my music louder than most, so although it is not as loud as I would like it to be, the sound quality is very good(not tinny) and I could hear it from my living room through my kitchen and into my garden.I would recommend and for the price Brilliant.

not the best
If using Optical connection you get the best sound,But, you can't use it as there's a constant high pitch beeeeee.....sound So,you have to use basic connection which though better than the tv speakers,is not really great..Spend more & get better quality..

Looks great, sounds great
Bought it as a Christmas present for my other half and he loves it. Looks sleek, sounds great and can even hang it off the wall! Compared the specs of third one with others the same price and this one has better specs than some of the lesser known brands!

Average product
This isn't bad for the price. Design wise it is not great, the cables stick out the bottom so it doesn't lay flat on any surface when using a SPDIF cable. Sound quality is good, but could be better. The bluetooth works well, and easy to set up and use.

Great improvement on TV sound quality.
Greatly improved the sound of my TV only drawback is the sound bar switches off after a certain time of inactivity. This is a nuisance and wish there was a way I could turn that off in settings. If it wasn't for this feature this product would get 5*****

Great Little sound bar.
I love it great sound. I use it with my no speakers HP 22" Monitor. Will get another one for the Tv as well. few connection methods including Bluetooth. With little remote control. I play my phone Audio through it.and Laptop. Great value I think.

Fantastic sound bar
Fantastic sound bar the sound quality is brilliant, we Bluetooth our Amazon Google to it and wow it sounds really good. I am really pleased with this item and for the price is definitely worth it especially when you compare it with others on the market.

Great value option
We wanted something cheap and easy to boost our TV sound and we got just that! Plug-and-play set up, brilliant sound without any tinkering, the only issue is that it doesn't automatically wake up when you switch the TV on, would have liked that feature.

looks good
Having tried 2 soundbars previously which were of the same make and both had distorted sound It was refreshing to hear the Hitachi sound bar was doing the job that it was designed for just remember to set the sound to 0 when connecting using the cables

Perfect soundbar
Very good soundbar for me as my tv doesnt have optical output and can be used in the aux socket and that wire is provided in the box too doesnt come with optical cable in case people would like to know was shocked how good it is defo worth a purchase

Good sound quality but not loud.
Overall good sound quality but surprisingly quiet, my TV's volume was louder so returned the item which Argos were superb about. The item was purchased to help reduce the sound of a modern treadmill but it was no better than the TV on full volume.

A good budget soundbar
For a very low cost soundbar the sound quality is quite good. Easy to set up but the location of the digital input is not good unless you're mounting the bar on a wall. I also had difficulty connecting my phone by Bluetooth when the TV was connected.

sound transformation
If you have a flat screen TV with the normal atrocious sound quality then this really inexpensive device will transform the listening experience. A must have if the TVs sound is really bad,and the Bluetooth for portable devices is a great addition.

The sound bar is perfect
I had exactly the same one from Argos 5 years ago and lasting 5 years showed it was well worth the money so I recently purchased a new one.is slim line,great sound and looks great in front of the tv.would recommend to any one great value for money.

Just the job for the new TV
Got a new T V but Speakers are underneath, there's more sound at the back than forwards. The sound bar sorted that out and you can zero the TV speakers and just use the bar, excellent quality and the sound comes from where it should, very happy :-)

Does the job...well!
The sound on our TV has been crackling a lot recently, so rather than buy a new TV (picture still good etc), this was a good way to preserve the life of the TV. The sound is fantastic, and work well with our SKY+HD box and PS4. Would recommend.

Not bad for price
I’m using this in a caravan. When I had the sound bar on a shelf above the TV it was very disappointing. Since I moved it low level it’s great. My son connects his phone to it to play music and for its size it has a nice sound. Easy to set up.

Seems ok.
For a (cheap?) simple sound bar cannot complain. Didn't need anything high grade or particularly powerful. Easy to connect using headphone socket on tv (switching to 'headphone' in tv menu). Might try digital audio connection sometime. Looks good.

Awful product
Don't be fooled by the price ,,the sound volume of this product is terrible ,my old transistor radio is louder ,,wasted time ,money in travelling to collect and return this product ,but the staff did change it for me with a smile and efficiency .

Does its job very well for the price
A decent soundbar, considering the price its a bargin. Don't expect something super high quality though, but its a great choice if your tv doesnt have good built in speakers and you want something to give it some bark without hurting your wallet.

Great Product & Great Price
Bought to complete the Amazon Echo Dot. Does the job a treat. Wall mounted and comes with a remote control (not that its needed with the Dot). Considering it's a "low budget" product, the sound is deep & rich and I couldn't have asked for more.

Green light
It has a great sound but possibly lacks bass could do with a sub. Also annoyingly a green light on the front of the sound bar appears which has a bit of a glare so I have had to hide it behind the tv so it does not distract when i watch the tv

Great sound, longer than I thought it would be
Do read instructions about modes and blue tooth: very easy to connect to blue tooth when you have it in the right mode: 3 stars as ithe sound only comes our of one side when you use it just as a speaker with a ipod or other plugged into it

Great Sound bar
Great value for money. Brilliant sound quality for TV use and playing music from phone via Bluetooth. Easily mounted to the wall using 2 screws (not provided). Fine cable which is discrete looking to run behind TV. Very easy to set up and use.
