Sound leaves a bit to be desired
Overall the quality is great for the screen and the settings but as in the review title the sound is a bit tinny when first starting up on any BBC channels. This tinny sound eventually disappears after a period of time. Either we get used to it or something starts working correctly. Other channels don't seem to suffer this problem. Returning it does not seem worth the effort as I will be getting a sound bar to see if this cures the problem

portable tv
Very nice and compact design, good for a bedroom. The DVD player was a bonus in such a small machine! Unfortunately, the tv was for an elderly gentleman, who wanted the subtitles 'on', which proved to be in very small font, and there was no way possible to increase the font without hiding half the picture on the screen! A bigger tv was much better at this..

Does what I wanted
This was bought to replace an HD ready 19" TV/DVD combo that gave up the ghost in our caravan, believed due to a power surge after a storm/ power cut. I reserved the item online and collected it a couple of hours later from the Alnwick store. Easy to set up, great picture quality and viewing angle, sound could be a little better but is ok. Full HD.

Great tv no good as a combi
This was a real shame. After much research I chose this tv dvd combi. Setting up was easy and the tv sound and picture quality were excellent for the price. This issue came when a dvd was put in which was its main purpose for use and the sound of the dvd whirring away was so loud you couldn’t hear what was playing. Unfortunately it was returned.

Good value.
Picture quality is really good though the sound is a few db short on base notes. .nothing a sound bar cannot resolve. .unless you are a lone viewer, in which case head phones are good for the unit . Overall it is good value for money and setting up is really simple. I recommend this listing on a 9/10 .

great value for money tv dvd package.
Great budget priced tv/dvd offering excellent value for money. Space efficient package means it will fit in smallest spaces, on top of wardrobe etc. Easy set up, menu driven so you don't need an NVQ instruction manual decoding. Highly satisfied with picture, sound and station finding.

Tv dvd combi
I’m not keen on this tv at all. If I had not thrown away the packaging I would have returned it. The sleep timer is difficult to find. The description of the programmes is hard to read because it is so small. I wish I had paid extra for a better quality tv.

you get what you pay for
The tv is ok however the sound is very poor we bought it for our caravan so its adequate for that but in a larger room you may struggle to hear without it being on max overall the quality is ok , the picture is ok and for what you pay you really cant complain

Small tv
Nice small TV for our kitchen, very light if you want one that may be need to be moved about. Good sound and picture, includes a DVD slot, not too pricey. Included a £10 gift card but be aware they need to be used in the following 2 weeks.

Nice little TV
Bought this for our caravan. Easy to set up. Great picture. Sound not brilliant but as expected for a tv of this size. Using it with a sound bar so this isn’t important. Light and easy to move around. Low power usage.

A bedroom tv
Found it difficult to get picture colour to what suited me.the black is very black and don't seem to be able to improve it.I have other makes and none of them are like this.I don't watch it often so will put up with it.

Takes a while for a picture to show
Being as the speakers are at the back of the TV it makes my neighbours here our tv as much as us now, by this design they have saved three inches in height by installing the speakers at the rear of the TV.

Broken
I picked it up and it already looked like it had been open n re stuck due to celotape being on it and then when I got it home the stand it goes on was broken and the bolt was gone off it

Whilst the TV set in itself is OK, considering the size of the thing, the instructipon manual could do with having been printed in a larger font.

OK for price
Adequate as kitchen TV combi. Sound is initially tinny until you get used to it and the DVD player is also noisy (whirring) when playing.
