My headphones broke on my into town :( I NEED my music when walking around and really needed some tunes! So I googled some earphones as I couldn’t afford to replace my headphones at the time .. these came up.. I bought.. walked around the corner and picked them up 1 minute later, literally! bish bash bosh, perfect. They work great for cheap earphones, obviously only compatible with apple devices nowadays since they changed the adapter, its no longer a headphone jack. But they’re great for earphones, you surprisingly get a nice spread of frequency response and what I’d say is a good bass response which isn’t common with earphones. They’re loud too, at least when they’re new. I can’t fit the silicone bud style earphones into my ears, they never stay in! But the shape of these is perfect and fits snug with easy insertion. Love em but with them being pretty cheap, their quality doesn’t last forever as I’ve had some before and noticed them drop in quality over time, however I could’ve definitely looked after them better. But yeah if you want cheap and nice enough sounding earphones for your iPhone these are great and Argos is very convenient to buy from. ... More

Called me old fashioned, but I like wires and I like wires going into my ears. A lot of headphones are going wireless nowadays and it's just not for me. Wireless headphones? That just gives me two small things to lose! When I run I don't want to be worrying about my heavy steps causing things to fall out of my ears and rolling away. With a good pair of headphones like these I'm not worryin'! I don't seem rude with these either. With a pair of wireless headphones someone might be trying to get my attention for hours and hours. With the two white wires leading to my ears it's clear, I can't hear you. I don't want to hear you. Goodbye. They can be loud, they can be quiet, it's up to you. You can't rate these EarPods against the top-end products of the same kind, but for the money, I haven't used any ear buds that provide such good sound. With any ear buds, the shape/size of your ear holes will determine how well these stay in your ears. I've had a hard time finding buds that stayed in place for me, but these Apple EarPods are great in that regard. I don't do any jogging with them, but for just walking around and doing day-to-day activities, they stay well-afixed to my ears. They also work great for hands-free operation of your iPhone. The mic picks me up very well (I've even used the mic for recording my voice on a podcast--sounded good). Overall, I highly recommend these. (By the way, be aware that these ARE the authentic Apple headphones, whereas you will find cheaper imitations on other sites. I wouldn't recommend wasting money on knock-offs for this product.) ... Honestly? Apple EarPods are incredible. They fit perfectly in your ears and the sound quality is just beautiful. Although it works best with Apple Music, I’m sure you Spotify and YouTube Music users will find greatness in their sound too! Also if you drop them in the bath or toilet, they dry out quickly and return to the best sound possible. They even last for months. I highly recommend these!

Would highly recommend this product to anyone. Got them for my son and my husband was so impressed with them that he got a pair a week later.

I bought these as my last pair stopped working after only 1 month. I have bought about 15 pairs of these now and don’t seem to last long. Always the same, stops working on right side first then the other side only a day or two later. I was shocked when these stopped working after only 2 days. This is not great for the price they cost.

This In-Ear device sounds surprisingly great comparing to the old Apple earphones. It stays in your ear well most of the times. In silent environment you can enjoy music, movies etc. but the noise isolation just as bad as the previous model. It is not the reason I gave 3 stars to this product. My concern is IT DOES NOT control the 3rd generation iPod Shuffle!!! Apple's own products are not working together at all!!! It is a shame in my opinion. Fortunately my 3rd party (Klisch) earbuds are working with it smoothly. Otherwise I have no problems using it. Works with other Apple products. It is just excellent for its price. ... More

I love these Apple headphone very handy for me when travelling or walking or going to the gym. Easy to use. Remote and mic so you don’t have to unplug from your phone to answer a call. I would recommend to others. I do think they are overpriced though as other shops have same once as apple a bit cheaper. Great sound for these also. The only thing I would change is to stop these from tangling up. That’s the only issue I have with these

Now I love headphones and when it comes to headphones it's hard to go wrong, however with earphones there's a lot that can go wrong, whether it be how comfortable it is to not having a good set of speakers. The apple ear pods are the best earphones I have used and believe me I've had a lot! They look great, the sound amazing and they are so comfortable in your ear, I sometimes even where them and listen to music when I go to bed and best part is your ear doesn't hurt when you lay on them. 10/10

The best price, without tax, was from B&H. I needed to replace my last earpods, with the 3.3mm jack, because one speaker wouldn't work despite my attempts to fix it. This time I decided to buy the earpods with the lightning connector. I don't need the lightning connector now because I use an iPhone 6s, but I recognize it will provide continued utility if and when I upgrade my iPhone. Anyway, the new earpods work great. They fit well and provide great sound.

My daughters insist on Apple products, so every few months I exchange their headphones when they fail. The last pair only lasted 5 weeks, and the pair before only 3 months. None have lasted the the full guarantee. Same fault, sound in only one ear. If it wasn't for Argos kindly replacing them each time, I would be bankrupt by now!

Genuine Apple earpods that are a big step up in sound quality over the standard cheap little earphone type plugs you get with some music players. My daughter wont use the 'lesser' ones anymore as she says the music sounds rubbish through them. It has to be at least these or nothing now for her. Highly recommended at the price and good value.

Nice sound quality, a bit pricey though! Use them everyday - only bought them because I lost my old stock apple earphones - not so good for running, have a tendency to fall out, but stays in place a light bit better than the older model

Argos are NOT to blame for this technical gripe. The sound quality on these headphones is good value for money but this is the second pair in a year because of glitch with the connector. Using the same port to connect an audio lead and a charger is going to cause issues. I feel like a mug for not buying a phone with a jack port. I tried air pods but wasn't convinced. The sad fact is I rather keep replacing for £20 rather than blow £200+ on wireless headphones. OK Whinge over.

These headphones are so comfortable, I bought cheaper ones but they kept falling out my ears and the sound wasn’t so good. In stark comparison, these Apple headphones provide quality and comfort. Plus the buttons to pause/play and turn sound up is a bonus. The only thing I would say is the price is just too high for a standard set of headphones. They don’t need to be that expensive. Knock a tenner off and I’d happily give it 5 stars!!

These are the best wired headphones on the market in terms of comfort, sound quality and shuffle/play/pause control but...... And this is a big but, these headphones break really easily. I have been through about four pairs in the last year. I do use them very intensively but it is very common to lose the sound in one side. On the other hand i do not like in ear buds and I cannot risk airpods as I know I will lose them so I have bought argos insurance along with my new pair.

Theses headphones are apple standard and have been reliable from past experiences. They are of great quality and produce a wide range of frequencies when listening to music or voice audio tapes. The design of the headphones produces a clear and concise range of frequencies. If I was going to give a suggestion it would be for Apple inc to produce in ear headphones as the bass frequencies on the standard could do with slight improvements. The Headphone parameters seem to respond to the Mid and Treble ranges, and the bass frequencies sound like a sub-bass. The lower 20hz frequencies are not really heard. Only a suggestion? ... More

My earphones usually lasts me years, not because I don’t use them often. But because I take care of them, don’t snag them and don’t blast insanely loud music to damage the components inside - people who don’t care about their eardrums. I gave away all my earphones because my family always seem to break or lose sound in one bud. Then my headphone breaks - leaving me without anything, so here I am. The sound and quality has always been good with apple. Love these current designs as they stay in the ear properly and doesn’t hurt it. I would recommend.
