Great priced headphones
I had to order these headphones as they were out of stock..they arrived early,so I went in to get them..WOW..wasn’t disappointed at all..the price for these headphones is a bargain..really comfortable to wear,and the sound is amazing..they are really easy to install as well...they don’t look the best on..but who cares when your saving the world haha..your missing out if you don’t buy these..they are amaze balls...top buy for me this year so far. Big thumbs up.well done Argos for stocking these!

Great Sound and Comfort
Straight out of the box, the quality was obvious. Some instructions would have been nice though. I figured it out and played FIFA 19, I was impressed by the sound. I was hearing crowd noise, player and coaching voices and sound effects I’d never heard before! All in crisp surround sound. Mic chat is clear above the game sounds, and without any ambient noise this made it a fantastic experience. The headset fits very comfortably and is adjustable, and the padded ear parts are very comfortable.

Does exactly what it says on the box
This headset is perfect for gaming. Especially PUBG. Great sound quality so I can hear players near me and not be surprised by someone suddenly shooting me in the back! Great for game or party chat and with the detachable mic it can be safely stored away and not get broken or damaged. The price of the headphones is perfect because they’re worth every penny Would 100% recommend this product to everyone. Great purchase, great service, and great delivery within a matter of hours rather than days.

Excellent comfort and sound quality
Really pleased and excellent value. The connectivity is no problem at all - I use these with the Xbox One for driving games using a wheel rather than controller but still able to connect the controller to the Xbox and use both microphone and speakers on the headset. Highly comfortable, eliminate surround noise perfectly & sound quality is great Unless you are one of those who just have to have the 'very best' I'm not sure why you'd spend more on a headset for gaming - totally happy with these!

Worth paying that bit extra over mainstream
Had this to replace a well know brand that was more mainstream & can definitely tell the difference. More comfortable and well made, sound is great, though a bit of an echo at high volume. All but one person on online play has said my voice is clearer and the headphones certainly cut out more background noise - including being called for tea!! No doubt more could be spent on something even better but really happy with these especially being able to use them on Xbox One & PS4, happily recommend.

Fantastic headset
First of all there are no instructions included and the mouthpiece needs connecting to the headset that said it's a minor quibble and is easy enough to sort. It is really comfortable for long gaming sessions. The build quality is really good and the sound is brilliant . I've had it connected to a switch Xbox one and my phone all with the standard jack plug, if this doesn't fit your device there's an adaptor included with 2 further jack's and it also has a 6 ft cable what more could you want

Great sound and comfort
My 12 year old son uses these for online games on his Xbox One. Build quality is really good with sturdy metal arms and solid plastic elements. Lots of padding on the headband with nice quality stitching, provided comfort and a premium feel. Padding on the ears mean they're comfortable for longer term use, without getting hot ears!. The sound quality is great for gaming,nice and loud, with a volume control on the side. The microphone clicks in/out easily. He's very happy with them.

Amazing gaming headphones at any price.
First impressions when getting these out of the box was that they looked great, I liked their minimalist design with a dash of blue. Using for the first time you are taken aback by the sound quality. For the price (any price actually), the sound was pretty immersive. The headsets are really comfortable on with large bins to allow for lots of room. They do a good job at keeping external sound out also. The mic works well although it did pick up alot of other noise from the room.

Super comfy headset
Bought this headset for my son. He finds them really comfortable, with better sound quality, for long sessions on his Xbox one. His friends have remarked on how clearly they can hear him, with the Corsair HS50’s. They appear to be made from quality materials and come with a 2 year guarantee, so hoping they last longer than the previous 3 Pairs, which were different brands. I can happily recommend this to anybody looking for quality headset, without breaking the bank.

Great headset good value
Corsair HS50 headset caught my eye because it was on offer . I researched it over a coffee with my son ( headset was for him) and we agreed it was well worth a go. Headset has performed very well ,punching way above its price bracket !! Clear quality audio reception,very comfortable when worn for a period of time . It’s a well made bit of kit and my son ( 17 years) says it’s the best he’s used . We’ve got through a few of the others in the £20-£50 price range .

Headphones great addition to PS4.
Sound quality is excellent. The materials feel very good quality and very comfortable to wear.The bass sounds full and there is no distortion of the sound. The treble is set just right. Microphone works really well it is clear and easy to set up. These ones have a cable and it is very long. Can use these as ordinary headphones plugged into your iPod, phone or even a stereo system (which I will be using too) I always complain that headphones sound tinny these sound great.

These headphones are superb!
I bought these headphones to use with my Xbox 1 and I was pleasantly surprised.For a reasonably cheap headset these are the pair to buy. The microphone is fully disconnectable and the sound quality is outstanding. The only possible negative that I have is that after five or six hours of use you do sweat but u guess it would be the same with any headset that you purchased. All in all though fabulous value for money and good sturdy all round construction as well.

Best headset by far!
This is the best headset I have owned to date! The sound is superb, the headset comfy and the option to be able to remove the microphone is a nice feature too. The cable has a 3.5mm jack plug and at 1.8 meters long it means that if you are on PC, Laptop or console you can sit in comfort. When connected to a smartphone it keeps its crystal clear sound. The position of the volume control and mute button also means it has a compact design and is user friendly.

TERRIBLE Mic
Do not buy this. Positives: Comfortable Breathable ear cups Great sound quality in headphones Negatives: Poor quality through soundboard, causing me to use headphone port at front Mic is muted and tinny Mic plugs in to headset via jack, so cannot be moved out of the way without being disconnected entirely Mic broke after a mere 3 months use Bad headset. Decent as headphones only. Read other reviews online. The mic is truly a design flaw.

Echo for xbox
I bought this for an xbox one and it has a built in auxiliary port with built in audio controls, and I was not able to find a medium where game sound and voice volume worked together without an echo, I also had a very poor sound quality when it was turned all the way up, and for a ‘gaming’ headset it performed very bad, a previous pair of headphones for ‘music’ produced a better sound quality, so I refunded and bought a different pair

Corsair HS50 Headphones - Big thumbs up
Superb mid priced headphones with out of this world sound... Really comfy to wear for long periods of use on basically everything. There is also a cable splitter included for use with your pc. Love the fact that the mic is detachable, with the controls built into the headphones rather through the cable (making them great for travelling). Really pleased with the sound quality of these, though the mic sounded pretty much ok.

Quality gaming headset
This is a quality gaming headset. Comfortable to wear, sound quality is clear and crisp. The flexible mic moves easily but stay in position. The on ear peice volume and mute controls are a nice feature too. It is well built and a little heavier than some I have owned before not much.there is ample cable and it it does all it should whilst being comfortable to wear. All in all I would recommend this headset to anyone .

Enhance your gaming experience
These gaming headphones are amazing. I have been using the headset supplied with my console which are not that comfortable or great. When I tried on these they were so comfortable, they fit well and are adjustable and the sound quality on these are amazing. Talking to others comes through clear. They also look great. They are wired and not wireless but that takes nothing away from these affordable and amazing headset

Worst headset ever
Pros: Easy connectivity & audio ok Cons: 1.The ear cans are SO tight - adjusting makes no difference. Severe headache after 3 hours. 2.Worst mic ever - positioned well mic started off ok then it got so bad the person on the call commented they could barely hear me. I had been recording the call and could see how badly it had dropped off. 3.Sides of headband poor quality looks like it'd break easily. Do not buy!!

Good Quality, Comfortable and Affordable
Very comfortable headset; it sits around your ears, rather than on top of them, so there's no pinching. I can wear these for hours of gaming and barely feel they're there. Audio quality is fantastic for the price and the microphone gives clear communication. Only major downside is that the microphone button doesn't make it clear which setting is on/off. I have to test in-game whether I'm muted or not.

For a lower end price range headset it's unreal.
It's not often I give an time a full 5 stars. For the price this headset far surpassed my expectations. The sound quality is genuinly fantastic. If you play fps games you can pin point footstep directions with perfect accuracy, something I've always found only top end headsets to be capable of. If you're on the fence whether to buy these then you have no need to worry. They are great. Well done corsair.

Great headset for the price
I purchased this headset to use on the Xbox one X with an elite pad, connects directly to the pad no adapter needed and is detected correctly by the Xbox, all reports from friends say mix is very clear not as much bass as my astro A40's but so much cheaper, they are very comfortable and have great sound blocking from the over ear design and soft pads, would recommend to anyone great headset :)

This gaming headset is incredible.
Not only do these look absolutely stunning, they are fantastic to use. The mic is easily attached, and the fit is incredible. Sound quality is better than my TV speakers, and they are so light in use you really forget your wearing them. The headset controls are good, and easy to adjust whilst in use. If your a serious gamer, like fantastic sound, these are for you.
