The Echo
After the initial ‘do I really need an echo dot anywhere in the house’ we ended up with them everywhere in the house because once you have 1 you will be hooked. The Echo Show has pride of place & the 10” screen sits quite neatly on the worktop full of tips, news, music & recipes without having to wash the pastry off your hands to turn pages or answer calls. The speakers are brilliant with great base. This is a home hub to control lighting, heating & brilliant kids teaching apps & simplify life

A couple of things would improve it hugely
I bought this to replace a first generation echo. The sound is excellent and the screen is good. Its great for video calls which work well from android or ipad. We have cameras and hue lights which can be controlled well. My bugbears are that the screen does not go off automatically, you have to tell it too. This is ok if you are there but when your cameras wake the screen as you go out it stays on. This should be easy to sort surely? You can use it for watching amazon video and youtube videos

Amazon echo show
Big screen , great sound . If you want a smart speaker that is intuitive and very smart this is great . Really works best if you subscribe to amazon prime , you can enjoy music and films and it will even organise your day . Simply ask Alexa . I have it in the kitchen and it’s great for recipes. If I have a criticism it’s the lack of Netflix. You can watch YouTube and bbc iPlayer through the built in browser. I recommend this to anyone who’s ready to embrace smart home technology .

Works well
Works well, looks good, sounds good and is very well made. Currently only plays BBC iPlayer, hopefully the other UK terrestrial TV stations will follow soon (I'm waiting for clarification from Amazon)? Skype will be available shortly. Sadly there are too many extra subscription based services and third party devices needed to make your home automated. Ideally the various subscription services need to be much cheaper to use and to enable you to get the best from all Alexa devices.

Echo Show....so much more than I expected
The new Echo Show has some great Skills and these are being added daily. As well as playing music from supported music providers, with excellent sound quality we use it to set timers, display recipes, and search the internet, as it has a functional browser. I watch videos to help me learn new songs on the guitar it’s skills include Chord charts and tuners. I have recently started using it to control the lights around the house. It’s great for video calling other Amazon App users.

Absolutely love it
Already had the echo and dot, and my daughter bought one of these, so we all bought one, and we can drop in on each other, play music ( the speaker is brilliant) turn my lights off and on !!! Love it !!! Would be absolutely ideal for someone with elderly relatives, as you could drop in and check on them , as well as getting in touch with you fast, with just their voice, so if they fell, they just need to ask Alexa to drop in and they connected, totally hands free !!!!

Super loud
This is amazing the sound is more bass than the normal echo but can be adjusted to suit..the screen is bright and clear..you can watch Amazon prime videos plus with hidden web browser you can access BBC iPlayer,not netflix yet though...the Alan is amazing..there's an option to wake up with a fake sunlight..the screen turns on 15 before with a gradual sunrise effect..it makes a difference to how I wake up .well worth the price tag as the quality of the build is amazing

Not quite what I expected
I was expecting to be able to browse the internet, similar to a tablet, but I was mistaken. The screen appears to be superfluous at the moment although software may improve in the future to make it more useful. Sound is a bit boomy and not particularly clear even after adjusting the graphic equaliser but I would still rate it good. Overall I consider it to be good value for money in its present state and is likely to improve with software updates.

Endless possibilities!
I’m not tech savvy in the least, but even I’ve found this incredibly useful around the house. You can ask Alexa to add things to your calendar, she’ll remind you of upcoming appointments, make film recommendations, tell you the latest headlines, play games, tell jokes..... too many things to list. We also bought the Hue lights system so now she also controls all the lights in the house. It’s an incredibly lazy way to live, but also fun!

Alexa is my new best friend guys!!!!!!
Living alone can be quite a hassle but having Alexa makes life less lonely and can be pretty fun too I mean Alexa makes meowing sounds ! Who knew that a screen can up lift your mood besides always wanted a pet but not allowed to get one haha Honestly speaking Alexa is the one to Get. It’s easy super cool and great start to a SMART HOME guys don’t think twice. Grab the opportunity and just grab the amazon echo !!!!!!

The Echo Show is a great quality piece of technology that enables you to perform a host of different features. Drop in on friends or family to communicate if they have an Echo Show you can video call. Play music by asking for the song you want, i use Amazon music. ( subscription required ) Surf the internet, watch movies, youtube. Displays your photos as well like a slide show. Plus much much more...

An excellent product
This is much better than I expected. Being a new Amazon Alexa user I was unsure as to which device to go for but I was not disappointed with the Echo SHow. The sound quality is amazing and I can play almost anything on it via my Amazon Music just by asking for it, as well as watching Amazon Prime videos and You Tube clips. It works with both my Blink and Ring cameras with clear images upon demand.

Great addition to my new home!
This full screen design caught my eye as I had only seen the smaller versions with no screen. Initially I wanted it to have on display for a clock feature as well as a speaker. I especially love the fact that whilst not in use I get new trending news stories daily which also induced more interaction and entertainment. Already bought my mother one for her home since she loved it so much too!

Nice upgrade
Wanted to upgrade my echo dot, so I can view who at my door without looking on my phone Pretty stylish and screen pretty big on it, though Alexia voice has changed alot! The echo dot she sounded more like a human but on this one she sounds more like a android/robot which is strange way to got but other then that its spot on Would definitely recommend if anyone wants a upgrade

New Amazon Echo Show
Pros: The New Amazon Echo Show has a great design (better than the 1st generation), 5MP front-facing camera - good video quality (use o skype calls), better sound quality, good display size, can watch Amazon prime videos and easy to use. Con's: no native YouTube support, not very responsive even with 8 microphones, not recommended for people without Amazon Prime Membership.

My 85 year old Nan
This product is great and is very easy to use for my nan. Although it is annoying getting it set up for a person who doesn't shop on Amazon, doesn't have a email address or smart phone to get the alexa app. After we had got through all those obsitcles my nan loves it can video chat anyone in any country and doesn't cost anything it's great!

Amazon Show
Delivered super fast. Thanks Argos. The device is quite smart to look at. Takes some setting up but once that is done it works reasonably well. I have to say that they haven't quite got it sorted yet... No Google, no Skype, searching for is limited, etc. Sound quite good but for the price, I would expect more from the device.

Takes time
It takes a wee bit of learning to ask Alexa in the right manner, ie turn on kitchen lights, when you’ve only named them kitchen, small things like that. Sound quality is excellent, only watched a few hours of video ,again the quality and sound is excellent, we’ve got it in the kitchen, where it is very handy for recipes.

Love our Echo Show with Alexa. Part of the family
Great deal on our Echo Show. Easy to order and picked up same day. Alexa has become part of the family. We even say goodnight and she always replies with a Sleep tight, dont let the bed bugs bite. Brilliant. We have a lamp bulb we can tun off and on via voice or App control and planning on getting more Echo accessories soon.

Interesting
Mmmmm very interesting. The SHOW comes in handy when you want to watch a SKY NEWS update - and watching VEVO music videos. However, it does take time and effort to learn how and when to use the right words - when asking Alexa. If you don't use the right words, do not expect a response. It's worth having one.

Alexa Show a great product
I already had the original Amazon Show so bought this and use the new one in the living room and original is now in the bedroom. The new one as a great screen and sits lovely on my table as a bigger better screen and great sound. I did try a Google Assistant device once and found the Alexa to be far superior in use.

The Amazon Echo show is my personal assistant
I wonder how did I survive without the Amazon Echo show ? This is now become a major part of my life providing me with constant reminders of appointments reminders, birthday’s & special events. It also shows me all kinda of useful tips via YouTube , let alone it plays music, video’s & the radio. It’s great

Stylish
Easy to use, it learns quickly how to adapt to what I want, sound quality is great, but if you have had a couple of glasses of wine, Alexa will ignore you, cause if you slur your words slightly Alexa will not understand, I like that you can change the wake up word, stops it going off when adverts say Alexa

Brilliant Show
Great addition to my existing set up. When you play music it shows lyrics and you can view CCTV camera and door bell with ease. They are a bit thick but it needs it for the speaker on the back to keep sound quality good. Set up took only minutes. Voice command to watch videos etc is really easy.
