Better than expected
This was bought as a replacement for an old radio alarm in the kitchen. It looks good and works well. It does more than I had expected - videos can be played via YouTube so great to take away for the weekend if there's something you want to watch. I've requested and used the recipes, played different radio stations and music and I'm sure there is a lot more I can use it for. It's great to have the screen unlike the Echo which you can talk to but not see.

Great Alexa device
Brought this for the kitchen, it was a great addition for the Christmas period, played loads of music and entertained the Grandchildren. Easy to use and very versatile.

Got this for my mum and dad for Christmas and they love it. It's now nestled on the kitchen work top. They can play music, listen to the radio and look up recipies! I'm sure it does many more amazing things and once Christmas is over, I'm sure they will have the time to explore further. It was easy to set up and connect with their Alexa. Design is simple and stylish. I'm glad I got the 8" as they will use it for recipies etc so it'll be easier to see/follow.

So unbelievably awesome
I returned a Google Home Hub and replaced it with this I can't begin to explain how amazing this is. Sound recognition so advanced compared to google. Sound quality with bass, stereo and high frequence is just amazing - £200 hifi speaker quality Screen isnt the best quality but for its purpose it is spot on. 8" being the sweet spot Liked it so much - i bought another. Think they have been the hard to get present of christmas because the were really hard to get hold of.

Love it
I was not really into voice activated devices but bought this one after seening my daughters. I am really hooked now. easy to set up, Great sound quality .Actually understands what you ask it. Only downside is you have to have a subscription service for Music and no internal storage. Having said that I still love it It can turn on my TV, I can listen to the Radio and with the right adapters it can control my lighting. I can use it for Alarms and reminders. Still finding out what else it can do

This is an awesome piece of kit, it even has a slide show of photos you want in there, sound is great. The only downfall is the size as it’s rather big.

Lovely sound quality
Looks good nice size without being over big. Has improved sound quality I have Google hub (old one) as well and this sounds better but it is the newer one

Good size screen
Good size screen, great sound & looks good. Good size for security camera reviewing. Not portable & must be plugged in continuously like an echo dot but great for tv, music & Alexa use. Bought for mum to use in the kitchen to listen to her favourite songs & get recipes, tips, set timers, ask questions, etc. Very handy as it can be set to show subtitles so she can read Alexa’s comments, too.

Sounds good, clear display
Second Echo 8 I have bought, better than any of the other echos I have. Works well to display wifi cameras on request, links well with sonos. Can use it to control smart devices by voice or touch control on screen, the screen makes it a lot more versatile (pictures, lyrics, web browser etc). Definitely my home assistant of choice,. Good service from argos who stocked it while other retailers were out of stock!!! Five stars all round

My Echo show looks fab and working perfect
I like my echo show, i bought for myself and I'm happy with my decision. Works perfect. Now i can turn on and of my home boiler, lights. Watch movies and listen music.

Should I buy?!
I already had an echo dot (first generation) but when I spotted this I thought, should I? I'm so glad I did, its easy to set up and there are many benefits. I love the sound quality the fact that I can see the time and weather display for the day. I've played utube music/videos and watched some prime tv, I even asked Alexa to ring my husband which worked! Alexa is in my bedroom, and I have no plans no plans on moving her out!!!

Great piece of kit!
The screen is great for displaying information and giving you extra pieces that would otherwise would not be covered by normal Alexa. Worth the price!

Best Christmas present husband has had for years
Don’t know if this says more about my gift choices over the years, or is a true reflection of how good the Amazon Echo Show is, but my husband has declared it his best gift in years! Easy to set up, screen quality is good, and sound is really excellent compared to the original Alexa. Get stuck in and explore the skills it offers, there’s helpful things as well as fun things, and it’s a great addition to our kitchen.

New kitchen toy
Available before Christmas in Argos whereas at least 3weeks from other seller. Used Christmas vouchers too. Lovely piece of kit for the kitchen. I use it to control smart plugs, music, videos while I’m cooking and can also access my ring doorbell. I’m sure I’ll find more uses going forward but for now very happy with purchase. Also white one looks nice and techy!
