My Alexa Show is great and I got my daughter one
I found the Alexa show easy to use and I also got my daughter one for Xmas and she loved it

Sadly it was faulty and had to take it back
From the few moments that it was working correctly it seemed to be a very good addition to my echo dot however there seemed to be some glitch during the set up and this unit kept flashing between the internet start up screen and its home screen, so I decided to take it back and get my money rather than a replacement. Furthermore after further checking it seems that the clock can only be displayed in the corner rather than full screen, so I might consider the show 5 as a replacement instead.

Good device if you already have Amazon Prime
Easy to set up, clear display & surprisingly decent sound for its size, more than good enough for kitchen listening, works well with prime video & music plus Spotify, just wish you could play YouTube videos, good with weather & news services, be aware if you have more than one Alexa device in a different room this one will still pick up your voice & it can get a little confused, overall a good buy for the price

Perfect gift for Xmas
I did a lot of research around this product before purchasing it. I would recommend after having used it. Very nice look to it and works brilliantly with my Ring doorbell.

Nice additional technology
So far the whole family have enjoyed playing with this, a little frustrating at times when Alexa has trouble figuring out what instruction you are giving it

Perfect
I love this, the sound is great and video play back is of great sound and vision quality. I can watch anything that I want that’s on amazon prime. Only snag I’ve found is that Alexa don’t always stop playing when I ask her to. Other than that I’d say it’s money well spent

Very smart looking piece of equipment.
Very easy to set up and use, gave 4 stars for sound quality as having had Sonos for a number of years nothing will be as good. Have not used to it’s full potential yet but would recommend.

Great Device But
I was very happy with the '8', got the larger screen so my wife could see it with her poor eyesight. However I am disappointed with the Clock display (it's great on the '5') and it's background 'photo frame' is not that easy to set up, you need Amazon pictures or dropbox accounts you can't use your own 'Cloud', same for music. Alexa can be awfully Thick at times. But so can I with modern tech.

Amozon echo show 8
The echo show 8 is an excellent bit of kit for around the house. It is so easy to use and also easy for the kids to work. The size is good and you can easily watch movies or videos on. The sound quality is great and can easily fill a room. It is that good I have bought one for my mum for Christmas. I would recommend this product highly.

Better than rivals
Got this after a disaster with FB social media smart speaker and it is night and day. I love Alexa and what it can do, it controls my smart home lights and heating, tells me the weather and is very good at answering random questions.The show adds functionality over my dot with Skype, which functions fine with it and also I like the fact I have got all the lyrics wrong with the lyric stream on the free amazon music and now know the right ones .Sound is great for me and deeper bass than the dot.

It's an Echo Show!
Exactly as expected and described! It's an Echo Show, with 8" screen, that makes it even more useful than your normal Echo. You can have all the normal voice interactivity but also get information on the screen as well. Highly recommended
