It’s perfect if you have a smart home
One thing I was looking for was to be able to turn lights on, without saying ALEXA when I wanted to get out of bed in the middle of the night. It works perfectly as I no longer disturb my partner. The other thing ease of setting alarms and snoozing with a light tap. Setting reminders and knowing the weather. It’s a great device and I highly recommend. I thought it may be too small but it’s perfect, it also goes into night mode automatically so the screen doesn’t glare all night long very happy.

Great addition to your smart home!
Am an avid user of echo products. This was purchased for my brother as a xmas present and was the first version ive purchased and used with a screen. Set up easy and was pleased with sound quality&display for the size of device and £££. Good compact size to use as a clock for bedroom tho I think my bro is going to keep on kitchen worktop/ breakfast bar at his place. He was very pleased with his gift and his OH is apparently eyeing up one for herself. Will be purchasing myself one at some point.

Good screen, good sound.
Surprisingly this has great sound, more punchier More Bass compared to the Echo Dot. Have it in the kitchen, great for recipes, loads to pick from, has the added benefit of being oncreen, it speaks out the recipe instructions, When it plays songs, it shows the lyrics of the songs too. Found it hard to connect, as already have 5 echo dots in our home. Had to phone CS, who explained it doesnt setup through app, but you use the screen to. Great addition to our multiroom setup. Would Recommend

One of the best in the range for price
I bought this for my mother and I picked the screen as the interface is easier. She loves it! She can read song lyrics, take a bit more time to read information etc. The speakers are perfect for the device itself, but if you want outstanding quality, there is an option to buy speakers and plug them into the device. All in all I would give this product a 5/5 for what it is designed for. Also, watch for deals on these products, Amazon will drop the prices, but Argos keeps up with those changes.

Great addition to my Alexa devices
I wasn't sure how much use this would be in my bedroom as I already had an echo device in there but I'm really glad I bought one now. The device is designed really well and the screen is clear and bright. It connects to your home network effortlessly and had lots of different options and customizations available to you for clock faces and information to be shown. If I had to have one criticism it would be that the sound isn't as good as my echo but to be honest I didn't expect it to be.

Great little gadget
I purchased this while on special offer. I quite fancied some sort of smart speaker. This having a screen is a great advantage. Sound quality is far better than I expected. Alexa can be difficult in finding information due to mispronunciation. I have used it regularly for news and weather updates, and also reminders. I have used the free Amazon music which has the odd advert but so does radio stations so not that bothered about that.

Love my Alexa view.
This connectives easily to my iPhone. Actual instructions on how to do this are given by voice via Alexa and written on the screen. My younger children love that the words to their favourite songs are written on the screen karaoke style. I like to say “good morning Alexa and she gives me the morning news and local weather. I have purchased two Alexa dots to connect to the view so I don’t have to keep moving the view from room to room.

I have Alexa in a few rooms now ...great for voice controlling speakers and lighting about the house ...the show’s added functionality makes a great visual and audio clock/ alarm and you can search and play YouTube with voice control ...the only downside is no Netflix .....!!!! Maybe that’ll be on sometime soon .. I read an online review that said it was possible to view ..Netflix ....so Was disappointed ...to find it’s not!

Doesnt work well with Ring doorbell sold with it
This was sold to us in a package deal when we bought a Ring doorbell. We assumed this meant it would show a video feed of who is at the door when it rings, but this is not supported by the Ring software. As Amazon own both companies this should work much better. Disappointed as this was the reason we got it. Using voice commands it can show you but takes several seconds to connect. Aside from that it's good as a smart speaker.

Echo 5 review
The echo 5 works but only up to a point. I have several echo devices and the echo show 5 is the worst microphone wise. It is good in many ways but it very often fails to hear the wakeup word. This becomes very frustrating when you have to repeat commands over and over. If you want it just for the screen then this works fine, if you want it to hear you first time every time, without shouting at it, then don't buy this.

Echo show
I purchased both a show 5 and show 8 and honestly love them both. It's super handy to have the screen and they look sleek. I'm still navigating the device and things it can do but I've put the show 8 in the kitchen to help with cooking methods being able to watch as I'm doing the food. The smaller show 5 has replaced my old radio alarm clock and it's just lovely as I have my photos generating randomly as a screen saver.

Echo Show 5
I have recently bought this Echo Show 5 in Argos and product wise it is wonderful and fun to use. Since I already have some of smart speaker the connection is a breeze and can connect to other smart devices. It is also best for bedside since it got a small footprint and don’t use much of space. Screen resolution is average but it serve its purpose well. Definitely a wonderful product and will recommend to my friends.

Amazon Show
Great product! Brought as a gift for my husband and he loves it. The display screen is brilliant, very clear. It’s a good size, doesn’t take up too much space. The sound quality is great! Every day we discover something new. We’ve just learnt you can display slideshows of photo’s on the home screen, which we love as it’s like having a digital photo frame. A good quality product, can highly recommend.

Amazing Amazon Echo 5
Brilliant bit of kit, got it as a surprise Xmas gift for my wife and she uses daily, we run it off our Apple Music Subscription which is easy to setup once you’ve downloaded the Alexa app. Better than we thought these type of devices would be and the screen is an added bonus to use for recipes etc. I used the Argos click and collect system which is very easy to use and pay for before you go and collect.

Very neat device.
Bought this to replace an alarm radio that was always 5 minutes slow. I have double vision without my specs on so its much more convenient to simply say "Alexa stop" in the morning. Sound quality is not great but from such a small unit its acceptable but then I don't use it for playing music. The ability to 'Drop in' on the kitchen Alexa and order a cup of tea from the missus, now that's priceless.

Great product, easy to use
I bought this as a present and the receiver absolutely loves it. It is so simple to set up, even for the older generations. In comparison with the other 'Amazon Alexa' products, this is by far my favourite as the screen just adds another dynamic. The only thing I would say is that if you would like a bigger screen then the Echo Show 8's screen is significantly bigger. 10/10 would recommend

15 YO daughter loves this
I bought my daughter this for xmas and she loves it. Great sound comes from it, connectivity is fab. All my girls got some form of alexa device and connecting to family account was easy too. The only thing I wasnt pleased about, is I can only add 2 devices for watching prime to the account. 2 of them have echo show and I have my tv so not sure what were going to do about that atm.

Perfect for my daughter’s present
Bought this for my daughter who lives and works in London. She is in a shared house with no sound system in her room, needless to say is delighted with both the sound quality, musically and the ability to call or video call her friends. There are so many app additions to the ‘Alexa’ from shopping lists, alarms, reminders etc. All in all a great purchase at a fab price.

Great gadget!
I had been putting off buying an echo as I knew sooner or later there would be an improved model and this is it. It's great for keeping lists i.e. when you are washing the dishes and realise that you need washing up liquid you just tell Alexa to add to your shopping list. I haven't experimented with it much yet, but a friend who has one thinks it's the best gadget ever!

Brilliant Device. Looks fab
Mum got one for Christmas, and I was impressed so bought one for myself. You can add many devices to it for eg the doorbell or a lamp which I will do at a later date. The sound is good for a small device and the picture very good quality. To get the best of music I suggest joining amazon music for more choice. Nothing negative so far. Just an enjoyable piece of kit.

Awesome smart device
So sasy to use with voice commands that my young kids command Alexa with ease. Stay up to date with weather, appointments, news. Some improvements could be made to the UI to allow more control of music. E.g. I cannot play some artists in amazon music using voice commands due to similarly named songs, albums etc so I have to cast these songs using a phone.

Handy piece of kit!
Bought for my 3 girls to set alarms for school in the morning mainly! They loved opening them Christmas morning, and are enjoying experimenting. Need to work out how they can all play music in their own rooms as at the moment it disconnects if someone else asks Alexa to play in their room. Love that they can see song lyrics aswell - very good all round.

Very clean and modern design
Easy to set up. Modern looking with a simple touch screen and connectivity was easy. Sound is a little under powered in a large room but purchased for kitchen and music, cooking recipes and video calls is great! If you want it for the sound alone then purchase the full size echo. Bought for the screen and versatility - music sound great for its location.
