Great keyboard feel
We purchased this in order to have a great sounding piano to learn upon. We had been using an old Yamaha CP-30. I think the P-121 excels in sound and feel with traditional piano, a solid electric piano, with less useful string sounds, and a decent organ. We have gotten good use of the accompanying rhythm just to generate ideas, and the iPad app really extends the piano functionality for learning, I highly recommend trying it out. I do wish these ... 73 Key Weighted Keyboard. Wow!
I had been looking and looking for a smaller, lighter, more compact fully weighted keyboard. Yamaha delivered on this model. Very compact and at only 22 lbs it is exactly what I needed. Sounds and feels fantastic! Sounds just like the Yamaha P125 and P255 st a great price.

Better than I Anticipated
I am pleasantly surprised by the build quality, keyboard action and tone. I wanted a simple, playable keyboard and that is exactly what I got and better than anticipated. Oh, and the stand, bench and foot pedal are also very useable again, better than anticipated.

Great Value
Plays remarkably like a mechanical piano. sounds OK, a great learning tool. Not so much for noodling around with heaps of synth sounds. Probably better for older beginner and intermediate players.

Great keyboard !
I love my new Yamaha p121 ! This keyboard fits easily in the trunk of my Camry and sounds wonderful. My p95 still works well, but this is so easy to carry and has better action and sound.
