Xbox One Official Chat Headset

Bought this as a replacement for the original one.

This was a replacement for a similar one that my son was using. Works as it should so far. I haven't checked it personally, but my son says it works well. Basic original product for a very reasonable price.

Got this to replace a different brand

and my 8 year old daughter much prefers this. She says there are no more drop outs and its clear and comfortable. Im not a gamer so cant give a personal opinion but if she is happy then I am happy.

Got this for my son, he enjoys chatting with his friends while gaming, this is a great headset for chat, good sound from it, & nice & clear chat

Better than using headphone jack

This works well more robust than headphones connected to headphone jack of the controller. Only the chat sounds come from this headset no gameplay sound. Gameplay sound will continue to come from TV . The chat can be muted from controller which is good.

Game chat only

It might be obvious to most, but it really is only a game chat headset. No game sounds are played through it, so you need to have the tv volume high enough to hear over the game chat. This might be ok for some, but it is a slight annoyance for me as I bought it for my son who plays in our family space. However, the quality of sound for my son and his friends is excellent compared to similarly priced headsets.

Headphones are good

The headphones are good and we have purchased these before, unfortunately numerous times as after a while/months of use they begin to play up and either the microphone doesn't work or the headphones play up. I think the build quality could be better but they do the job, you just have to bear in mind the more they are used the sooner they will possibly break.

Best chat headset

The official headset for the Xbox wouldn’t get anything different as you never know. Got it to play online with my boyfriend and it’s amazing. Sound quality is just perfect you can adjust volume right in front of you as it clips into your Xbox controller. Definitely a great purchase I highly recommend this headset if you want one to play online with your friends! You can adjust the fitting of the headpiece so to make sure it’s the right fit for your head.

Gaming headset

Having had problems with a different headset I chose this one as it was the official Xbox one. Good value for money. Plugged it in and it worked which was nice and easy for me. Adjustable to fit a child's head. Light to wear. It must be comfortable as he never wants to take it off.

A special gift and top bargain bought together

I bought this for my seven year old grandson so he could play x box with a friend as he already has the console and one controller. He was delighted as he opened the boxes and though I bought them on an Argos deal at a bargain price his excitement at getting them was worth a fortune. I had priced them elsewhere and Argos was best value for money.
