Good value headset
Brought this as 2nd headset it's same as the one you get with system now both me and my wife can talk in party while playing, all in all it works so it's ideal.

The headset
So since Microsoft updated manufacture , you now have to purchase this headset , once upon a time it came free , and gaming has moved away from a single player to multiple , all over the world , so this device is basically a necessity , to coordinate and discuss where enemies are , or item drops , or just simply talk to friends in Xbox chat , it isn't the best , but for the money , it's great , just a shame you have to buy it now , and you don't get it with the console anymore

Known problem
Have bought 2 now and neither have lasted 12 months. Apparently this is very common and the maker's are aware of this.

Grandson

Official Xbox One Headset
Just the standard Microsoft Xbox One headset, works as it should do. On one occasion I've had a problem where nobody could hear me but this was fixed by simply unplugging it and plugging it back in again.

Purchased as a direct replacement
This is exactly the same headset as the one provided with the xbox console. The first one I purchased was faulty (I think someone may have swapped their old headset for a new one and returned the old one to Argos as the packaging was all ripped open). I returned the headset to Argos without any problems. I purchased a further headset from a different Argos store and that is working fine.

I think that this is the best headset you can by for the xbox one. Why? Because it's so comfortable and the sound it crystal clear never had any problems with this headset so highly recommend it!

Terrible
A very bad headset, cannot hear others properly and people struggle to hear you. If you want to buy this I do NOT recommend you do. Go for something with much better quality as this is the worst headset I've used.

Lasted 3 weeks
Bought this to replace the head set that came with the console (as they broke after 3 weeks) and realised they were the same, had for 3 weeks and they broke. The mic just stops working. Took back to argos and exchanged for a different, more expensive pair.

-48Hrs & Cables Broken
With 48 hours of first opening the packaging it has survived just two 3-4 hours sessions and now the cable is broken... This replaced the same modem which had the same problem though that one lasted a bit longer. Avoid!

Great
Much more sturdy than the xbox 360 headset that used to break everytime you put it on your head. A little pricey really but should save in the long run. Is a little uncomfortable at times

Xbox one headset
Cheap for xbox one. These keep breaking normally have to replace every 3 months or so,but the more expensive brands also break as the wires are tiny. My advice is to take out the insurance 2 year replacement. Excellent value for money. The xbox 360 headsets were the same. Wouldn't buy an expensive headset so would recommend this product providing you take out insurance.

Great gaming headset
Looked at the reviews and was unsure. But took the plunge and I'm very happy with it. My 14 year old son has no complaints. Defo recommend.

Xbox one headset
Quality is great but microphone bracket feels too loose compared with the one I got with the Xbox. Feels faulty. Wires are restrictive unfortunately but nothing you can do until they make a wireless version
