Bigger Screen Better Picture

Oct 17, 2019

This is my second Panasonic TV. My previous, 32 inch model lasted 7 years. I decided to go for a bigger screen this time. I am glad I did. 11 inches does make a difference. It was easy to set up out of the box and not too much packingh. Two gripes. The lack of a scart socket, and turning subtitles/ audio description on or off means delving into settings not just a simple on off button for each on remote. Picture is very good. Text for menus, EPG and now next banner is so small.

Nice TV easy to set up, great sound

Aug 9, 2019

Very pleased with this TV. I wanted a sturdy stand (because I have lots of cats!), good sound and easy to set up. It ticked all those boxes. Set up in 10 minutes, including screwing the stand on the TV. Excellent sound levels (was concerned as many of the new TVs have to have a sound bar). I’d have welcomed more guidelines on setting picture quality, as when you try and set your colour preferences, the info panel almost covers the screen so you can’t see the immediate effect.

Easy to set up and get viewing

Nov 16, 2019

Easy to get set up. Automatically tuned all the channels and found the internet connection. The remote is quite intuitive. I like having the narrow border around the screen. The on screen TV guide is not as user-friendly as previously, but being a smart TV it's much better for all the catch-up stuff as it doesn't need the set-top box. I'm currently experimenting with the colour balance as studio faces appear a bit yellowy at times and it's difficult to strike a happy medium.

Unusual for Panasonic

Oct 23, 2019

The 2 piece 8 screw TV stand could be made to fit easier, especially for people without a decent phillips screwdriver. Obviously the TV has to be stood upside down to fit the stand as well. Having said that, the stand is very strong and stable in use. Unusually for a Panasonic item, ours had an intermittent HDMI socket fault straight out of the box. Fortunately, 1 call to Argos and a replacement was sent the same day. We still like Panasonic and assume it a one off issue.

Nice TV. Good picture and sound. Poor menu

Aug 17, 2019

Easy to set up. Good picture and good sound. Menu for station select could be better - No page at a time scrolling although if you hold button down it will scroll fast through the stations. No screen within screen (Just a still picture) or sound when you go from a program you are watching to the station menu. I find this a bit annoying. Settings menu not always easy to use but worked it out eventually. All in all a good TV but menu functions could be a lot better.

This TV has such a great picture

Feb 13, 2020

The image quality is superb and highly detailed, with no false contouring visible where there is a gradual change of colour or illumination. It connects to the internet easily, sets itself up rapidly, and identified a bluray player plugged into it immediately. Playing an Mpeg4 video through the Usb socket today, it looked at least as good as it had on my computer monitor. I would not have expected any better quality if it had cost twice this price.

TV Review

Oct 16, 2019

Good value , Amazon could have supplied it for thirty pounds more. So went with Argos. Easy to set up on Freeview and freeview play . I have virgin , so plug in hdmi , set up done. Picture and sound better than my old LG . Have used you tube, and players all seems very good also had a USB stick with all my music on , which played nicely and same with photos. So ticks all my boxes.

Everything was so easy from the time we ordered on line to the pick up the product at the store was excellent. The product was a 43 inch television quite a large package. We were wondering how to get it to the car ,no problem the store staff were superb even without asking they took and loaded it in the car. the whole experience took less than 3 hours. Well done Argos

Replacing Samsung

Nov 16, 2019

Purchased as an upgrade to my ageing Samsung. All in all a very nice television. The operating / setup system does not seem to be as simple as the Samsung, doubtless I will get used to it after a while. Picture is very good, I guess the sound is OK but to be honest after setting up I connected it to a Soundbar. As of writing this I am satisfied with my choice.

Great TV and easy to set up

Aug 14, 2019

Panasonic's quality construction and design makes this TV very good value with 4K HDR.This LED Smart TV lets you watch Freeview Play catch-up TV easily, so you wont miss your favourite programmes from the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five etc. As it’s a 4K TV, you’ll be able to stream “must-see” box-sets from Netflix & Prime Video in the highest quality.

Suits me fine

Sep 7, 2019

I'm no TV expert but this one suits me fine. My last TV worked well for 12 years, i can only hope this lasts so long. The only issues I have is no NOWTV app and my previous telly was on a swivel, which I never thought about but it was useful. First thing I watched on my new TV was the period film The Favourite, which looked great!

Great picture and sound BUT !!

Aug 30, 2019

The picture, sound and build quality of this TV is great, but navigating the menus and trying to set up connections with other devices proved impossible to me. Instructions are hopeless, returned to Argos for refund. Replaced with a LG which is super easy to set up and navigate around the menus

Good for the price.

Jan 17, 2020

A good picture and sound. Small niggles though; the remote control is slow to respond and quite temperamental as to where you point it at the screen. Also, even though the speed test of the internet, performed through settings registered 57megabits. The Youtube app freezes quite often.

The quality of the picture

Nov 1, 2019

Very good quality but we struggled with the HDMI connections, had to get an extension for the Amazon fire fox which didn't fit the connection, do to poor design by Panasonic, also the third party devices ie recorder and dvd player connected by HDMI, the AV 1/2&3 are slow to start.

Great TV for the price

Jan 23, 2020

Really like this TV. Picture when watching 4k is amazing. Only niggle is when watching terrestrial stations there's yellowing on peoples faces which I dont seem to be able to change. That is a relatively minor thing though. Would definitely recommend.

Great TV yet to test 4k picture quality.

Nov 17, 2019

Nice features and easy to control and setup. I needed a single foot which this model had so a great result. My last Samsung TV failed after only 3 years so I wait to see if this Panasonic proves to be better. I have not tested the 4 k resolution yet.

Great value and very quick to set up

Jan 16, 2020

This tv is very lightweight albeit a little flimsy if you were to pull on the frame. Very quick to set up with the optimum AV settings. Connecting to my router and the web was easy. Love the home page apps and can modify to make it so user friendly.

Panasonic 4K TV

Nov 14, 2019

Very disappointed with the picture quality, no matter how many adjustments I made the people had odd shades to lips & skin tone. The 4K HDR didn’t improve the picture. After 24 hours I took it back and exchanged for another model.

Very average if not a little disappointing tv

Oct 1, 2019

Picture ok, sound ok, looks a bit dated with grey detailing. Biggest disappointment is lack of connectivity to brand apps and/or devices. Best pic from Netflix v.average for sports & movies. Would buy again and will replace soon

Amazing product, especially for it's price. Good, big size. Everything you want in a decent TV and a modern, sleek design as well. Loads of connection points. Only issue is no bluetooth, which the connection points make up for.

Great TV

Feb 6, 2020

Really good picture for the price, connected easily to my PC and Chromecast. Not using it as regular TV. The stand is solid and sturdy and has screws to hold it in place. Sound is not that great but I will use speakers.

Works well, although can be slow with the internet

Sep 18, 2019

The TV is great, definitely worth its price. Image quality is amazing, menu is easy to browse in. But the Tv can take a few seconds to buffer videos when streaming online. Hope a software update can solve this issue.
