Not great with ASUS Xonar PCI card
It is probably the fault of the card rather than this headset but this combination was a flop on a Linux box. I intended to use this for skype, Viber etc. The volume was not high enough and music did not sound clear. When used for VOIP the other parties were not satisfied with the volume or clarity. As it is it seems like an expensive mistake. It's also heavy, uncomfortable, and feels hot when worn. I will try it with a laptop which I have in another location and update the review if things improve.

Really good headset for broadcasting/shoutcasting
My main use for the headset is broadcasting, streaming, webcasts and remote sessions with customers. It is also nice for listening to Music, but there are better headphones out there (for this price). It feels good wearing it, even for long hours. Very comfortable "on" (over) the ears.
