great sound's just what i need can not fault
well love LG products and this lives up too there stander's great sound just the right volume on it would recommend this too anyone especially if you a bit hard of hearing

Poor speech reproduction
The sound bar is good for reproducing music in cinema mode. However I bought it to listen to the tv. Not much better than the poor tv speakers. The little speakers I use on my computer have much better speech clarity when connected to the tv. Don't buy for better tv programme listening.

Dint buy if you require good sound
Poor sound quality I suppose its reflected in the price. There is no bass at all and it disconnects every time you switch off the TV. So you have to go through the same process of reconnecting it whenever you switch in the TV... If I had the energy I would return it.

Perfect Sound Bar from LG, improved quality
It is indeed worth the price paid for. Among the new generation LG sound bars this one has doubtless and improved sound quality, functionality and usability in this price category. So far so good, no failed functions were detected.

Great sound form it. Better than last lg sound bar ive owned for 5 yrs.also delivery driver very prompt and helped carry it to my appartment as ive siatica . Very happy all round

Great soundbar for small and medium sized TVs
Very pleased with this soundbar, fits my new 40" TV perfectly; good sound quality on both standard and cinema options, and you can use the volume control on Virgin remote too which is handy. Nice piece of kit for those of us on tighter budgets. Bit fiddly to put in the optical cable but otherwise a good buy.

Ground soundbar at a good price
I got fed up with my old system failing to start up with the tv, and the speakers in the tv hardly changed from level 30 to 100! Got this little beauty plugged it in connected optical cable turn on the tv sound sync (LG) and job done. Looks good sounds great. Play music from iPad or iPhone through itusing Bluetooth. Great piece of kit fully recommended!

Soundbar looks good and sound is ok
Bought this soundbar to match my LG TV. Sound isn't as brilliant but it's good. For that price would have loved a bit of clear sound but it's ok

this soundbar is only really for enhancing small portable TVs if you want much much better sound go for the next one up with 300 watt output and a subwoofer difference is amazing!

Easy to setup, Works seamlessly
using this as a separate speaker for a projector and as some more oomph for my laptop. was easy to set up and switches flawlessly Sound is crisp and bass is deep. cant go wrong with this speaker.

For the price, you would expect it to come with the relevant cable to connect it, but once that's in place, it's ok.

worst item i have purchased
I bought this soundbar to compliment my LG tv,how wrong can you be!. It has the weakest volume,the poorest base and all the buttons bar surround sound make no difference at all. I was so poor i tried to return it to argos,but according to them it is now secondhand, how would i know it was no good unless i tried it!. Sorry LG this is rubbish.

LG Soudbar SK1D
For the price, its a good piece of kit. Its not going to beat the high end audio systems but it does deliver good enough sound to make a difference from the standard tv speakers. Easy to setup with bluetooth or via optical cable.

Stylish design
I bought this item instead of buying a stereo, so as well as having better sound quality for the tv I can now listen to music via the Bluetooth option. Setting up was easy, just be aware you will need a optical cable to connect to your telly, also available at Argos.

Love it but...
Love it the sound quality is great, don’t need a subwoofer really for a bedroom the sound is nice especially on music channels, and movies. My only issue is I think they should include a cable to put to the audible connection on tv, the speaker is no good without this it doesn’t work. My advice is to buy the cable now before getting it, or buy them together.

Great sound I bought this for my daughters 50 inch tv because the sound wasn’t great on it she loves it using it every day not just for the tv but she also connected her iPhone to play music

Nice but quiet
This was a nice looking soundbar but unfortunately too quiet when connected to the tv as the tv internal speakers were louder than this. When playing music via bluetooth this was decent quality of sound.

Good Sound
Good value for money, easy set up-you have to supply your own cable (using fibre optic on mine). Downside is-no wall mount or fitting supplied

Great value for money
Got this for my 12 year old son for Christmas. He loves it. Was able to set it up on his own, though did have to put an optic cable separately to hook up the TV to speaker but it was no issue. He said the sound quality is "amazing"
