Works great and takes up less space
I purchased this to transport Vives and Rift + Touch's to trainings. It has made my life so much easier! If fits either system easily (unless you have the upgraded Vive audiostrap - then it's a squeeze, but we've made it work). Inside compartments can be configured how you like. Other reviews are correct in stating that it won't hold extension cords or additional gear- we usually just throw all that junk into an additional box. It definitely holds everything that comes with each system, though, and the fact that the box is significantly smaller is a huge bonus :)

Too small, smaller than the box a vive is shipped in. Can't possibly hold all the Vive and peripheral parts

Too small to hold anything. Much less any other peripheral equipment that would go with any VR headset.

Buy a pelican or other case for much less with more room
Case is smaller than the box the Vive is shipped in. All the Vive components cannot fit in the case without disconnecting everything, cables, etc. Even then it is bulging in one direction or the other. If you have the deluxe headstrap your Vive setup will not fit in the case at all. Bought 7 of these to house a class set of Vive units with grant money. I am not stuck using 2 cases per Vive and leaving the others out. Who makes a $60 protective case without any extra room? We have trackers and wireless adapters as well, there is no way those fit in the case at all. Please don't buy.
