The sound bar and the subwoofer are excellent .
The sound and pictures from my tv cannot be connected to the sound bar so it beats the prime purpose . Only the sound from my iPhone 7 Plus gets connected to the sound bar .

Easy to set up
Overall pleased with this sound bar. However, the remote control is very small, I've never seen such a small cheap looking remote control. Set up was easy once we realised that our television didn't have a HDMI ARC output. Overall pleased with this purchase

Good design and sound
This Hitachi sound bar looks and sounds good. Although it is bit fiddly to connect. I first tried an optical cable but that wouldn't work, so I connected it via the 'aux' and it worked fine. The sound bar was purchased for my elderly 97 year old father in law, who is partially sighted and quite deaf. Unfortunately he could not see the buttons on the handset or the ones on the end of the bar so it had to be returned to the store for a refund.

Good sound , easy set up
Produces good sound , great subwoofer to back up soundbar , easy to set up..BUT I would like a volume read out on the front , rather than just indicator lights , and the remote is possibly the cheapest.nastiest Ive found. Otheriwse great value.

Stylish and easy to set up
Good sound quality, perfect for the money. I would have done with a bit of a bigger remote as too small and keep losing it, but apart from that happy with my purchase.

Rubbish
Please don't buy this, it's rubbish. The sound waves in and out and was so bad, it made me feel sick. A lot of money for something that doesn't work.

Sound bar
It was not easy to tune and the sound it produces is not a good one at all . I would have loved to return this product but my son had already played with the packing box. I dreaded why I didn’t wait for my relative to advice me on which one to buy. This was really money wasted

The sound bar is amazing for the price
It’s amazing the pics and the size as the woofer is nice a small and just font in perfectly and were the bottoms are placed male ot great as children will find it hard to find them :)

Definitely worth the money
Bought this a few weeks ago as the tv speakers weren’t cutting it. Definitely a huge improvement, easy to set up and compact enough that it doesn’t block the signal being received by the remote. Obviously it’s not a full home cinema set up, but for the price, it’s a great way to boost the sound quality and volume without breaking the bank

Better Than The TV Speakers.
Actually sounds OK. Took seconds to set up using a hdmi cable. Remote very small and fiddly but don't need it as I can operate the volume using my TVs remote. If on a budget then I'd recommend.

Awesome sound quality...
Love this while the tv is on and love listening to my music through it too. We just simply bluetooth it straight from our phones! Looks lovely and neat too and no more ugly wires trailing all over the living room since we have removed the home cinema. Sound quality is just as good! Price is fantastic! Well done Argos!

Nice products!
The subwoofer seems to work better with movies including a lot of explosions/rumbles etc. Otherwise it can be very subtle. The soundbar itself produces noticably better quality audio than the TV itself but the difference isn't as extreme as I imagined. I'm currently using my headphone jack for my soundbar instead of an HDMI cable which wasn't supplied, so I don't know whether that makes a difference to the sound. Overall, I'm with my purchase.

Compact
Excellent value, good sound, compact and unobtrusive, one thing to note if like me you are using a free view box with sound bar connected to tv via optical lead make sure the volume level on free view box (+tv ?) is set at full volume to allow max (controllable) volume from sound bar.

The sound Bar was difficult to set up as there was no optical cable included in the box. The sound quality could be better too.
