Home Mini: You find uses for it and it's good fun.
Santa brought my son one and he loves it. Useful for homework and introducing him to the music his Dad listened to when he was young. Works with Spotify and other music apps. Loads of apps and games to play. Storytelling. The Google Mini is similar to Alexa Dot. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. Can be used to control Smart plugs and lighting in the home. Sound quality is what you would expect from a small speaker.

A really handy piece if equipment for information
Can answer most questions instead of having to go online, plays the radio, all though havent had much success in accessing any other music from the play store. Doesnt take up much space & is attractive to look at.

Very helpful
Its very easy and handy even my 2 year old ask her to switch on T.V and ask her about weather and all ( must be following her 6 year old brother)

Great little gadget
Had the google home and wanted these in other rooms around the house. I mainly use it to link music via all of the speakers around the house. Not the best sound quality for music the google home is better. But does the job. Simple to set up, easy to use. Doesnt know some stuff but you can report the issues direct to the speaker which then sends the feedback direct to Google.

Easy to use google
This was a fun filled purchase by my husband. He loves to ask it funny questions and jokes. It always puts a smile on his face. Its an interesting and fantastic interactive toy.

Nice and neat, use it in the bedroom
A good little unit, can verbally ask for pod cast to listen to set alarms reminders and tell it where I put things for safe keeping. It's great.

It gets smarter every day. You can control almost any other smart device and also will soon be able to book appointments automatically by phoning the small business!

Nice and small, easy to use. Have had some fun when the Google home advert comes on the Tele, it sometimes picks it up and scares the he'll out of us as we are not expecting anything.

Not bad, but not the best
I have Alexa and Google Mini with Lifx, Philips Hue, and some other home automation. The speakers are better than Alexa or at least louder but the mic is not that responsive. you need to be near it. I had a lot of issues in connecting to my Samsung s8 + . it will not recognise and the support was not good. Now it started working. .

This product is good and bad
This product is great it fits in with my furniture and is great for playing music on and setting alarms for the morning but if you dont have google chrome then theres not much else you can do with the product. A few bad points about this product is that if your wifi isnt the best then its not going to be good. Another bad point is that this product has woken me up in my sleep and spoken to when i wasnt in the room saying sorry i did not understand so this product is okay but is a bit creepy.

I got this because my dad had one and it looked good. Thought price was good. And it was easy to set up. But after a few weeks you do get bit fed up with it just asking the weather and play this. So started buying all the WiFi light switchers sockets and so on. See how it manages controlling these. will add that latter. Let you know

Incredibly simple to use
As part of setting up the start of a smart home, Google Home is ideal. I compared it vs. Alexa (which I have in built into a Sonos speaker) and can honestly say Google is streets ahead in terms of voice recognition. You have to speak much more robotically into Alexa. The functionality of Google Home is catching up too. Works well with Hive Bulbs and Hive Heating too - I'd thoroughly recommend.

Perfect colours
This looks fantastic in the location that I purchased it for. The subtle colour blend's in seamlessly into the background. The sound is great for a speaker of it's size. I would definitely recommend.

OMG AMAZING!!!!!
I bought this for my mum (who is blind), she just lost her dog of 12 years and was a bit lonely. Now she’s listening to music through “Spotify” and finding news stories and asking about the weather and time. She love it!! Couldn’t have wished for anything more. Thank you “Google”

I wish she would learn faster!
When asked a number of questions, the response is I'm still learning that'.... Very small and compact, don't need much space. Easy to connect.

Great little personal assistant
I bought this for my retired father who now uses this every day to check the weather, get the latest news and to listen to his favourite radio stations. It was very easy to set up and he has had no problems with it so far. Definitely recommended!

Love our Home mini
This is now our third mini in the house, one was free with my partner's Pixel, one a present, and the third we decided to buy one so we could have one in the kitchen. Extremely handy for timers, questions when your hands are full, and just to play music. The only downside is with a free Spotify account you cannot request playlists to be played, the only way to get around it is to have spotify signed into another device and tell it to play the playlist. Otherwise it's perfect!

very good
Great little device better on the radio than the Amazon Echo, small and compact so doesn't take up loads of space sound quality is okay for its size, not a bad price from Argos could do with a small stand to turn it on its side so you can see the interreaction of the lights on the top if you have it on a shelf
