Well built and fast transfer
I had seen negative reviews for the USB CINESSD station but never used it myself. All I know is the speed of transfers with this thunderbolt station is very fast. I shoot on 480gb CineSSDs. Didn't time the transfer but I think 400gb went in about 7 minutes or so. No complaints.

Does its job
Works just like expected. With USB 3.0 the transfers are at a good speed. Just way overpriced for such a simple device!

I would give 5 stars if the thing uploaded faster Too Slow
The CINESSD Station is a very cool looking and well built dock station, BUT (and this is a big but) it is slow as molasses. We filmed a shoot in California. We used the inspire 2 for about 3-4 hours filming in cinema DNG Raw. We needed to film the next day as well. It took all night to upload the footage to external drives because the CINESSD Station was so slow. We were afraid we wouldn't have all the SSDs the next day to film.

Robust Product...alwys just works
These units are very well built and just work. I have three of them to transfer all the footage we are constantly acquiring from our DJI Inspire 2.
