Do not buy this monitor if you are used to a Retina display
This monitor is nicely built, but if you are used to a Retina display on a Mac product, you will be very disappointed. Photos look okay but text is unacceptably blurry. FOR this resolution, the monitory is probably a fine choice, but this resolution is way too low when side-by-side with a Mac laptop, for example. I ended up returning this and buying a Dell P2415Q which Im very happy with.

Great monitor; Great value
Monitor is great for work (cant rate it for gaming). Sharp, bright, fast refresh, reliable. Text renders well. It has more vertical pixels (1200) than standard 1080 (ratio of 16:10 rather than 16:9) and so you can see more of any document. We have bought 40 of these and their predecessors over the last few years and had zero issues. For the money, these are unbeatable.

Dependable Dell Ultra-Sharp Monitors
This is my 3rd Dell Ultra-Sharp Monitor, the oldest just turned 13 years old, the other is only 8 years old and they still work great, never a problem. So far the new monitor works as advertised. The only real problem is Dell only accommodates its branded computers for wire connectivity..... had to purchase a new HDMI cable. Small price to pay for such a good monitor.

Love the 16:10 ratio!
It's hard to find good 16:10 ratio monitors. I love the extra space height-wise compared to 16:9 monitors. This one looks and functions great. The only downside is that the blacks are not as deep black and the monitor has this glow that becomes exacerbated when viewing things from the side, at an angle. Doesn't come in they way of work. Love the minimal bezels!

Dell U2415 24
The monitor works great! We use it for photo editing with Photoshop. The colors look good right out of the box. We did have to adjust the brightness to better match the images we get from our lab. We did purchase a high spend HDMI cable, which helped the screen to be clearer. It has a nice look to edit images. Over all its a great monitor.

Love this monitor
I now own 5 of these. I have two systems that have dual monitors and one that stands alone. I like the 16:10 aspect ratio and the ips switching. All monitors performed perfectly right out of the box. Price was great. Service excellent. And by the way, I have purchased all monitors from B&H photo. Their sales and service is just great.

Need better instructions
I did not know of the HDMI connection menu nor how to access the menu. The small dark indicators on the bottom of the screen frame is not visible. I spent much time trying to find the answer to why my HDMI connection was not working! Some simple institutions would have been helpful. The chart does not explain how that works!

Good monitor & fast shipping
Just connected this monitor yesterday after receiving it two weeks ago. I'm building a 3 monitor setup and I will buy two more of the same soon. I will report back if I've any issues. The features I like most is the very thin bezels, which is a plus if you building a set up like mine. The monitor is bright and sharp.

Great for Video Editing
I use the monitor as a supplement to a 15 Macbook Pro when I'm working from home. It works really well for my preferred setup for FCPX, where I have my timeline/clips on my laptop monitor and my viewers and scopes on the larger monitor. The color representation is top notch and there's no noticeable lag to speak of.

I don't like them
I don't like them. I still have them because I'm tired of looking. Came as pack. Color is off on one of them and I can't get it right. I've tried changing cables in case it was that and I tried the color options menu. The menu buttons frequently stick and causes the menu to rapidly cycle. The small bezel is nice.

Great all-around monitor
This monitor has amazing picture quality. I'd highly recommend it if you're doing video editing or even for gaming. Super easy to set-up, and the extra vertical width is great for when you're reading long documents. Not only that but the bezel is incredibly thin! It's probably the thinnest I've gotten so far.

Perfect for photography
I am a professional photographer and i use this monitor in a two-across dual monitor setup on my Mac Pro. The color gamut exceeds sRGB and the brightness and Kelvin controls make it easy to calibrate using my Spyder5Pro. Response time is very nice and colors are maintained very well. A bargain at this price!

A bit more expensive but also a bit sharper.
Screen resolution exceeds full HD by more than 10% with my standard HDMI connection. Effectively expands the 25 inch screen to a 27 inch, yet the writing is so crisp I do not have to enlarge the text. The multi-position stand is substantial and works well. I did not have to upgrade my 4 year old computer.

This monitor displays more colors than my other monitors
My hobby is digital photography and editing images in Photoshop. This monitor really displays the colors in my photos better than any monitor I have owned. Good job Dell. I would give it a 5 star but it goes into hibernate mode sometimes. After I get that worked out it will surly be a 5 star monitor.

Plug in and Go!
If you edit videos this is an awesome monitor. Using a MacBook pro, I plugged this thing right into the thunderbolt input and it extended my screen automatically with no headaches. I didn't realize how much of a difference this extra screen real estate could make, but I feel like a whole new man!

Excellent monitor
Excellent panel, easy setup. Use it for editing photos, browsing the web, general computer work. Easy to combine a second monitor because o the small margins on the edges. Thrilled with this monitor. If you seriously edit photos, you will love this isp panel. Just a good monitor for the money.

Nice value for the money
Nothing to complain about. It looks nice and sharp, calibrates well, and has nice styling. Pairs perfectly with my MacBook Pro using the included MiniDP cable, and works with a regular VESA mount desk clamp to free up space. the included stand is heavy-duty, though - I just need more height.

Love the picture quality and size of these monitors.
Have found our Dell monitors to be reliable. I love these monitors for the picture quality and the extra space (they are 1920 x 1200). Don't know (or care too much) about light bleed, since they are not typically used in a dark room. Used in an office environment with no gaming allowed :)).

Excellent monitor, highly recommended
I needed a monitor for my MacBook Pro. I was familiar with other brands, but not Dell's monitors. I got great service at B&H, and absolutely love this monitor. It has a beautiful display, and looks great on my desktop. Setup was easy, and the 24-inch screen is the perfect size for my needs.

Perfect for home office
Purchased a 24 a month ago. It is Super clear and very versatile as you can split the screen to view two or three documents at the same time. I am set up with duel monitors so I can view up to 4 programs or documents at once. Very happy with this purchase. Also impressed with B&H service.

OK Monitor - Not For Color Critical Work
OK display for the price. Looks decent, especially with a Mac which is why it was chosen. It lacks a web cam and speakers however, but has plenty of USB ports and direct connect to a Mac via the Mini DisplayPort. I would not suggest it however for color critical work like photo editing.

Love these monitors
Crisp colors and text. I like the extra vertical space that the x1200 gives us. The U line has good connectivity and have always provided our users with great reliability and longevity. In fact, we normally retire monitors because the user needs a larger space, not because it has died.

extremely dissapointed
I purchased a U2415 as an addition to my Dell 2209AW, thinking it would be just as good, particularly as it is newer. The colours look fine but it cannot resolve dark tones or bright whites very well at all. And yes both monitors are calibrated. The old one leaves it for dead.
