Great at a Great Price
I initially bought this as a quick replacement for my older Apple Cinema Display. At the time of purchase, I didn't think it would be as good at my old display, but it should be good enough until I save up for a new 27 Thunderbolt Display. To be honest, I was blown away! It is tack sharp- way sharper than my apple. And a few tweak to the color and brightness was all it needed as far as calibrating it. It am thrilled with it... Now I wish I would ... Show More

What a change in view
2 monitors on the desk at work. I had nice dell monitors before, these are light years better. Just double check that the inputs work for your computer, HDMI, Display port and Mini Display port, there is also a way to link 2 monitors together, I did not use that, as well as USB hubs aplently. I have not set those up either. Bottom line a sea change or should I say a see change from 23 inch 6 year old middle of the road monitors. I have them plugg... Show More

great Dell U2412M replacement
After my Dell U2412M stopped working I started researching a replacement. I decided on this Dell U2415 and am very glad I did. It has everything I liked about the U2412M plus: - the anti glare coating is smoother and less grainy - inputs galore! (the 12M only had one DVI and one VGA) - USB3 ports - very slim bezel - the base is silver and has a smaller footprint - factory sRGB calibrated Since this is an external monitor attached to my Macbook Pr... 16:10 screen a welcome improvement for my needs
I was looking for a monitor with a better display area than my previous 23-inch 16:9, and this U2415 monitor fit the bill. Never a fan of the wider aspect ratio, I finally got so fed up with the diminished vertical dimension that I looked at various options, settling on this one. For my purposes, which are mainly reading documents and published pages, the increased area (while still managing a usable resolution) provides a much better experience.... Show More

Great second monitor for GUI purposes!
It's a great second monitor to my iMac 27 as I didn't want to get another 27 since it would be too large for my desk. I can see a few light back light leaks which is somewhat disappointing but hey you're not going to do any serious grading on this monitor so its fine as a secondary GUI display. Since it's 16:10 ratio at 1920 x 1200 you can preview 1080p material while having some space for other things such as toolbars. Doesn't match iMac's white... Show More

Perfect 2nd monitor, in portrait mode.
Portrait mode is great for spreadsheets and screen shots where the image you want to capture is taller than wide. Lots of input options and the 4 USBa outputs are handy (though maybe less so in Landscape orientation). Im an amateur photographer and colors seem good right out of the box. Very close to the 32 I use for photo editing. People often dont consider stands when buying monitors, but this one is superb. Heavy, adjustable for height and ... Show More

Great Monitor
I have a 2007 24 inch iMac and wanted to get a monitor to match it. This one matched it in size (16:10 ratio) and in clarity. but without the iMac high glare screen. I use this monitor as the primary screen now and the iMac as the 2nd screen, because of its lack of glare. Set up was easy. Just plug and play (or in this case, watch). I would highly recommend this monitor. Keep in mind this is a 16:10 aspect ratio and not a 16:9. I received the mon... Show More

exactly what I was looking for
This is not a super-wow product, but it was what I needed, and B&H is reliable, efficient, and price-wise. I needed to connect with an adapter b/c the ports dont match what I have on my laptop, but B&H quickly helped me on that. The small size makes it easy for me to handle, and its got completely standard specs; I easily mounted it on an arm attached to my desk, although the arm was originally bought many years ago for a brand of monitor that doesnt even exist anymore. If you just need a larger-than-laptop screen that you can adjust easily for height/distance, this is just fine.

Writer's choice
I am an academic and spend a lot of time writing and reading manuscripts. With this in mind, I have looked into monitors that can show two pages on one screen. I tried two single monitors but found them cumbersome. One of the sad facts of modern monitor technology is that their elongated aspect ratios are not suitable for writers. After several experiments with various monitors up to 27 inches in size, I found that the Dell Ultrasharp 24 monitor the best choice: in Word, with the top ribbon minimized, I can see two pages at 73% zoom, which is just sufficient. The text is sharp.

Excellent companion to a MBP
I've been using this monitor for about 2 weeks now. I've switched from an iMac to MBP and I needed an bigger 16:10 monitor to edit photographs and videos. Because I just bought a MBP, my budget for a monitor was very small. This Dell monitor is excellent. The quality is great (even though it's not 4K) and it has built-in USB 3.0 hub which makes things easier. I calibrated it on the first day and my calibration was very close to the original calibration. The only thing I don't like about this monitor is that the access to USB connections is very hard (it's in the back).

A quality, cost-effective upgrade
After using a Dell 2407WFP for seven years, this U2415 is an amazing upgrade. The display is bright and crisp. Side-by-side with the old monitor it is clear just how much of an improvement an LED backlit display is. No DVI port may be a problem for some, but there are always solutions for that with converter cables. The only issue I have noted is when gaming, it seems natural to put the display in fast refresh mode, but this exhibits some unwanted ghosting. Setting back to normal refresh and the problem is solved. Otherwise this is a phenomenal piece of kit.

Not happy, not unhappy.
Main monitor for photo editing. Not sure it is living up to the reviews. Everything looks softer instead of sharper. Setup was a bit of a pain, but I found answers to my problems. Stand is nice. Size is great. Side by side with my Samsung 19 it is really nice to keep the images on the Dell and everything else on the Sam. Again everything seems softer, not sharper. This particular unit? The settings, and if so what am I missing? Does not seem better than my old LG which died after a little over 2 yrs and cannot be repaired. Perhaps the next will be a BenQ.

The buttons, and included cables
The only two things I don't like about this monitor are the following: -Touch sensitive buttons: these buttons don't have any texture so if you work where there isn't enough light to see the symbols on the bezle its hard to activate them. -Included cable: I didn't like that it only came with a display port cable (I did like though that because the monitor has display port and mini display port connectors you can interchange the cable to your needs) would of been good to at least have an hdmi cable included. Other than that I like the monitor very much.

Great monitor. I would recommend it to a friend.
I read the reviews for several 23-24 inch monitors before I settled on the Dell U2415. I am happy that I did. It replaced another brand 23 inch which I passed on to a family member. I run Lightroom 5, Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro among other programs. I find the U2415 to be quite satisfactory for my photographic purposes. Besides great colors I especially like the black blacks. The monitor came pre-calibrated right out of the box. After initial setup, I re-calibrated using my xrite Colormunki and the before/after test photos were almost identical.

Easy Setup, Great Resolution, Perfect for Home Office
I bought this for my desk at home and quickly set it up. Its exactly what I needed. The size is perfect if youre just looking for a reliable monitor for daily use. Im a programmer and I browse around online often watching videos or just reading articles. The different settings for quickly upping the brightness to watch videos or dimming at night are great. Theres also a Paper setting which makes it extremely easy to change if youll be reading a while. You can put your own customized settings really easily as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent
I purchased the U2415 due to the 16:10 ratio. I wanted a bit more vertical real estate since my primary purpose is Autocad work. The picture quality is top notch. It is also great to know that the color is consistent across multiple monitors. I use 2 monitors side by side and they are fantastic. The bevel on three sides is fairly small (1/4inch), but I could see how a gamer might want that reduced even further if possible when displaying a screen over both monitors as that would mean a 1/2 inch black strip in the middle of your view.

Rich color and easy on the eyes
I positively love this monitor. It replaces an Asus PA249q high gamut monitor. I find the U2415 to be much easier on my eyes. I think part of that is due to better anti-glare. I really didn't need high-gamut Adobe RGB, but wanted outstanding sRGB. It comes factory color calibrated, but I was able to improve upon that using my trusty old X-Rite Eye-One Display 2. I love the way my pictures look. The U2415 is also very compact so it takes up a little less space. I think this is well worth the premium compared to a generic monitor.

Great Resolution - Not User Friendly
I bought two of these monitors for a dual-monitor setup. Free expedited shipping was awesome. The installation was straightforward because of VESA mount and provided screws. All sorts of cable are included except the one I needed, DP to DP. Unfortunately, the user interface is poor. The buttons to power on the monitor and navigate the setup menu are unresponsive. Lots of connectors on the back but none of them is labeled. They are tucked underneath making it virtual impossible to connect unless you flip the monitor upside down.

Nice monitor at a reasonable price
We use 2 of these side by side in portrait orientation for graphic design and general office use. The thin bezel allows for a nearly seamless view of large images across the 2 monitors. Image quality is excellent. The monitors supports Displayport 1.2, which should allow daisy chaining of one or more monitors. I ran into some issues with making this work (probably due to the AMD video card in the Dell computer driving the monitors.) I ended up driving one monitor with Displayport and the other with DVI and all works well.

Dell U2415 Dual Screen
I mainly use the monitor for spreadsheets. I am using a dual screen setup. The coloring between the two monitors is a bit off on the standard setting (one has a bit less blue hue). I am hoping this corrects itself over time. Coloring can be manually adjusted to match better. One of the monitors I ordered was faulty upon arrival. The screen would flicker and no image would appear. I contacted B&H and they were very helpful and sent me a return label and new monitor a week later. Great customer service.

Great value
I was looking for a good affordable monitor for all around use and light photo editing and this really fit the bill. I bought it based on a lot of reviews from various sites and this model was often cited as one of the best for the price. I use it connected via HDMI as an external monitor for my laptop. The height and tilt adjustment is great, and the stand is very stable and sturdy. I have yet to have any complaints with it and think you won't find anything better at the great price I got here at B&H.

Good value for the money. Would recommend.
Good value for the money. There are cheaper 24 monitors out there, but the Dell Ultrasharp is well built and the colors look quite good out of the box. The stand allows for rotation and height adjustment. The design is clean and the monitor is not bulky. It doesn't have great placement of USB ports, so a hub might help if you use them often. I've owned several Dell Ultrasharp monitors and have been pleased with all of them. If fact, I still have a 20 that has worked fine for over 10 years.

Best Screen Ever! A+!
Ok - so my 'headline' might be a bit overdone, however, it really is the best screen I've owned. Considering I've been stuck at 1920 x 1080 at work doing ERP, spreadsheet, and Crystal Reports for the past 5 years, this is a terrific upgrade for my home. After all, I've taken up photography and want better graphics for Adobe LR. I haven't been a Dell fanboy up to this point [more of an Apple / HP buyer], but after reading convincing reviews and trialing first hand, it's a welcome upgrade!
