Apple has got a winner with the ipad mini. It's powerful and portable enough to take anywhere with you and actually get WORK done. Don't let that small screen fool you! you'll adapt to it in no time and find that its more than enough for 95% of your needs. in-fact, despite its small screen size, its been a great sketch book for me. now with the apple pencil support, hobbyist artist will reach for this more often than a larger device. I'll unequivocally say that this is the best price to value device from apple ever! and yes, that includes the iphone.

Exactly what I wanted
This iPad Mini is the same design as the pervious model (version 4), except it has a much faster processor and it's compatible with the original Apple Pencil. This Mini includes a standard headphone plug and a Lightning port, like most iPads. Since it's the same external design as the previous model, cases and screen protectors for that model fit perfectly on this one, too. So if you find items made for the iPad Mini 4, rest assured they will fit this version as well. (Don't buy items for version 3 or below, as they won't be a good fit.)

Best Yet
Love it, size is handy. I use it mostly for reading via kindle app. Downloads are much faster than any tablet I have had, even faster than my 10.5 iPad Pro. It is a much handier size to carry and will get the most use. I got the wi-fi only model as my cell phone carrier now provides free wi-fi hotspot service and that works great. I work part time doing pharmacy relief work, so it is much easier to connect via my hotspot, and check on future scheduling than trying to read and send confirmations on my iPhone.

Apple finally did it.
I fly drones and need a screen bigger than a cell phone. The iPad mini works great for that purpose. Ive been using a mini4, but when I saw that the 5 has almost 3X the computing power and I could get it with 256 gigs of memory I jumped. Brighter screen, no video lag or dropouts, and fits in the same Otterbox case as the 4, its a monster. Plus when I gig with it it has a dedicated 3.5 audio jack which adapts into my PA. This tablet is now my go to for both music and flight.

Basically iPad Pro mini
Alright, technically iPad Air mini since it has the exact same specs. Crunches through any Lightroom and Lumafusion tasks I throw at it, only issue is the slow SD card reader interface (usb 2?). Fits in my back pocket and fits in my kakis front pocket along with my 6s plus, Apple Pencil is legit despite 1st gen, higher pixel density than any other iPad, plenty loud, plenty bright, and makes me feel like a giant. Smart Cover is great if youre a careful person.

Just as advertised.....
Was lucky enough to be in nyc on a job and stopped by the Mecca of photography, lighting and computing, b & h. Sales person was well informed and completely happy to spend the time to answer my questions, my hands on demo of this little iPad mini with wireless and g-4 had me going home with it......very pleased with its lightning fast computing, and gorgeous Retina display.......and with the peace of mind the AppleCare offers, i am a very happy customer.

Excellent Tablet
IPadOS is a huge upgrade for the ipads. Adds some great new software features. The ability to use the Pencil 1 or the Logitech Crayon with the mini is epic for note taking or sketching. The device itself is light but sturdy. Screen is bright and the battery is great. Love it. Anyone who needs a tablet and thinks the regular iPad is too big should definitely go with a mini. Its rock solid and a great device to use.

Mini made Better
I love my mini 4, but it's a little long in the tooth for some of the apps I use. Bingo, along comes mini 5 addressing all those problems. Way more speed, great screen for both clarity and brightness, and with 256 gigs of memory it's going to take a while to fill that up. I use this for my music apps and my flight apps, and I kept the 4 as a backup, but I doubt I'll be needing it.

Best small tablet.
Love the size of the screen. Last tablet I bought was the Nexus 7 2013, I like the iPad mini a lot better bigger screen and faster. Was debating on whether I should go with the regular iPad but glad I didn't this is the perfect size for me. Cost is higher than the iPad but the iPad mini has a newer processor and more storage.

Live this iPad!
I wanted an iPad but I needed it to be small and portable for my work. Conventional iPads are too big and a cellphone is just too small. The iPad mini is just the perfect fit for my needs! It has a super clear screen and I just live how it handles! I am son glad I got this!

Finally and upgrade!
I have an iPad mini 3 and have been wanting to upgrade for awhile. I purchased the 4 in December on sale but it felt sluggish. The 5 is almost perfect upgrade. This size if perfect for reading. Love the pencil support. I do miss Face ID as I have of on my iPhone XS.

everywhere
I use this in place of a phone, and for me it's just about perfect. I like that it still has a headphone jack, and I hate the idea of face id. With IpadOS, 256gb and up-to-date internals, it's 10x the device my Mini 2 was.

This is a great update to the mini 2. Its the perfect size and snappy performance. The kids love them. Ive ordered from B&H for years and they are great. Fast delivery and Ive never had a problem with an order.

Great upgrade!
I replaced my former iPad mini. I am a big fan of the size; this is my third mini. This one is speedy and works great. I have the pencil, but haven't played with it much yet, but it seems like a great addition.
