Amazon echo spot awesome product
Bought the amazon echo spot for my bedroom. It’s amaxing can do so many things and is so easy to use. Love the touch screen display makes it so easy to change anything quickly. Playing games is great and so many different ones to play. Alexa can do so much I have yet to discover everything but I’m having fun doing it and I’m sure there is much more for me to find. Setting alarms or asking the weather or my calendar is quick and easy. Love how you can put your own personal photos on the display.

Amazon Echo Spot - White
Very easy to set up paired with my dots for multi room. Added a plug to control a lamp in the lounge. The more you teach Alexa the more she learns. You can skill enable meaning she has learned that skill I.e “Alexa turn on Xbox” She is capable of voice recognition. She can tell jokes, play games and with the screen you can watch films and FaceTime. Alexa can have hiccups with certain commands but that is down to me also in using the correct phrase. Can’t wait to see how Alexa develops with time

Flawed design - poor companion app
Design is floored without the additional extra stand. On a desk the camera points at the ceiling due to the angled design. As a clock it’s useful. Kids love several apps. Amazon music is not included with prime. If you have more than one home device such as heating and lighting using similarly named rooms Alexa gets confused when you ask it to set heating or turn the lights on. When you call home the phone app defaults to speaker mode and is buggy. No dedicated audio only call option.

Amazon Echo is well worth the extra money.
You can buy the standard Amazon Alexa or you could go one step further for little difference in cost and bag yourself an Amazon Echo. Well worth the price apart from the usual things we have all seen Alexa is abke to do my favourite has to be video calling. So easy to use and you can literally drop in to another video chat to make it a group chat. Connection will be dependant on your broadband but apart from that the device is amazing. We also used if at New Year for party games also. Amazing

Best alarm clock ever
I went through several alarm clocks before my Echo, and they were either too shrill, too bright, or didn't match my decor. Not only is Echo fantastic for its different ways to wake up as quiet or as loud as I want, I can call Alexa in the living room to speak to people while in bed still. Its fascia is also customisable to match any style, and you can set the screen to dim at night. If using to listen to the radio, the sound quality is great for just listening to in the bedroom - not parties.

The Alexa spot if great... highly recommend it.
The amazing Amazon spot, ideally placed in the bedroom on the bedside cabinet.The screen looks like a clock, which is gr8 for a quick glance at the clock Alexa wake me up @ 7.30 to 80s music simples.lol alexa tell me a short bedtime story we also have a Amazon Show in the living room., so when the spot wakes us up.we just say turn radio one on in the lounge,and with WiFi enabled plugs for the lounge,it's gr8 Alexa lights on in the lounge. Seriously highly recommend any of the alexa products.

Excellent
I was considering purchasing an Echo Show for the screen capabilities but always found it quite bulky and ugly. This however is much nicer, much smaller and definitely much better looking. Overall it does what you expect it to do and does it well. The touchscreen is particularly impressive. I do feel like it's a bit less responsive to voice commands than the Echo Dot 2 it replaced on my night stand but they'll probably take care of that via software. So all in all, a great little gadget.

Useful and fun!
Great little gadget, perfect for the desk top or bedside table. The screen is a real boon and I'm glad I chose this one over the non-screen Alexa's. You can connect it up to all sorts of smart home stuff just like the other Echo devises. Customize the clock face any way you want and just have fun learning new commands and adding "skills" so that Alexa can do more stuff. The screen is very clear and sharp and you'll have no problem watching news bulletins or Youtube clips on it.

Good looking but not very smart and a little slow
Have bought it for the kitchen for weather/news/recipes/ocado and general queries. Was disappointed by slower response and worse speech recognition than google mini which I already owned. Though I liked the design and the screen. But my wife did not like the voice. Also google mini instantly recognises the voices of all my 4 family members, and I could not set that up on alexa, though this is probably possible. Will sel the spot on ebay and stick with Google for now.

Excellent little gadget
This is a fantastic little gadget. I bought one and loved it so much I bought another 2. One for each room in the house. It’s is set up in a few easy to follow steps, and it’s done. It links to your amazon account if you have one. You can ask Alexa anything and she’ll answer you. I can watch tv/movies on with with amazon prime and listen to any song with amazon music unlimited. The list is endless. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very versatile and useful
I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife as we had seen one with our daughter. It is a neat unit which sits on the kitchen worktop and is used mainly as a radio and cooking timer but is capable of so much more. FaceTime with our daughter is an useful feature so is access to the news, weather and any other information. I feel this is just scratching the surface of its abilities and it will take time to find out more things.

Your Bedside Companion
It’s an amazing Alexa, timepiece and video calling all rolled into one device. Just like the other Alexa’s you can ask it anything whilst in bed. The alarms work fine waking you gently with soft tinkle or waking you with your favourite music or news channel. The kids rush into the room of a morning and ask all manner of questions to it and play true or false game. Great fun. All in all you’ll find it a well worth buy.

Good fun...
Does exactly what a normal Echo does but with the added bonus of a display screen, so you can ‘facetime’ with other Echo Spot owners and see visuals of what you are listening to, or read lyrics... it also displays graphics such as the weather, and other info... Speaker quality is quite good too, with no distortion... I need to look into it more, as at the moment it’s an expensive alarm clock and radio ;-)

Blooming Awesome Piece of Kit!
This is a phenomenal piece of kit! Love all the pictures, especially the 'goodnight owl!' Sad I know. Does SO many things! Alarms, weather, info, music, photos, sleep sounds, jokes, daily updates, etc. Syncs with phone. Brilliant when you need to set a reminder at bedtime but don't want to fiddle with phone. Adjusts to lighting so not glary in dark room! Perfect compact size. Just really clever! Very impressed.

Spot on!
This is an excellent product of very high quality. The packaging is also of extremely high quality so that, from the moment you start to unbox the echo spot, you know it will be a great product. It is very easy to set up and, in no time at all, the echo spot is responding to your questions. The screen is really good and has a night time mode. You can also load your own picture for the background.

Artificial intelligence
Easy to set up and connect to WiFi. The only disappointment for me is the fact that the Echo Spot will not connect to my Ring video door bell, despite my Ring account being linked via the Alexa app. This device is best linked to other devices such as compatible light switches. If you do not have a vast collection of music stored on a pc etc expect to purchase Amazon Prime or Spotify premium.

Love my Echo Spot!!
Bought this to replace my alarm clock - but this is so much more!! I love getting news updates first thing in the morning, I can set reminders for my daily to do lists, I can check on the weather both at home and different areas - the list is endless!! Oh and the best bit of using it as an alarm? You can turn it off without having to move - ideal when you've just got comfy in bed hahaha

Compact echo looks great and has a great screen
The echo is very stylish and will look great anywhere. It functions as a clock or small digital photo frame when sleeping. The screen is great when making video calls or watching videos, on YouTube, for example. You can call Alexa from quite a distance and the mic functions well. The nice little surprise is the quality of the speaker, which can fill my large living room with music!

Awesome
Not a novelty item and worth the cash got the echo already for down stairs but got the dot. Got to say ease of setting alarms and music for the morning is easy even when you wake up half way through the night because you’ve forgot to set up it’s a quick chat to Alexa and your done Great info for traffic and weather update and days meetings whilst your getting ready

My husband loves Alexa...
Our youngest daughter had been going on about having an ‘Alexa’ and I was looking for speakers; so two birds, one stone for my husband’s Valentine’s present. The geek in him loves programming reminders for the family and finding out what random songs Alexa knows. Going to have to build up to the additional accessories but very happy with my purchase.

Echo Spot is amazing and looks good
Bought as a present for my Daughter to go with her Echo Plus. She loves it for many reasons being able to play music, use as an alarm clock, hear the news, find out about the weather control the lights.. The best thing about the Echo Spot is being able through her mobile to view and talk to her dog when she is out and about an amazing product wish I had one.

Great Alexa device for the bedroom.
I previously had an Echo Dot in the bedroom, but found the sound a little tinny - this is far stronger. The Spot has a great screen that dims when it gets dark and doesn't light the room disturbing sleep - just don't expect to watch videos on it, at just 2.5" it's too small, but is handy to see the weather, headlines and your daily appointments.

Brilliant
I love it! Considering the speakers are quite small the sound quality is really good. I have an echo plus so of course it's not as good as that, but I was surprised that they were as good as they are. The screen is useful but I wouldn't recommend it for trying to properly watch anything on YouTube or something as it's not big enough for that.

Very good
Nice bit of kit this, very easy to set up. I already had an echo set up in the living room, so this is on my bedside table.very smart looking it acts as a clock but can do various things , play music ,hear latest news you can even watch movies on it. To small a screen for me. It also has a camera .really great item.
